Yea I wanna try it because I cut my hair to my neck and many ppl tell me that it’s looks nice on me, but it’s becoming dull and I have a issue where my hair grows extremely fast so it’s no longer a cute short asymmetrical bob now it’s just a bob so I wanna get bangs but I also wanna get these types of bangs because I can hide them but certain hair places never seen such loose bangs so I’m going to see what I can do because I’m already unattractive as it is I don’t wanna look even worse lol 😂

Major tip for anyone that's tries this out, when you hold the part you want to cut and level it to your eyebrows, DO NOT pull your hair! Just hold it and cut! If you pull down your hair and cut it, it will come out shorter than you want it to be! I had a hairdresser do that mistake on me and had to wait ages for it to grow out 😭

Julie Thuy Dang lmao, once my mom and her friend’s bangs were too long. Their teacher told hem to go to the toilet to cut each other bangs. My mom’s friend cut her bangs really beautifully but my mom forgot and pushed down her friend’s bangs. So when she cut it and released it it was really short. Her friend did not talk to her for a few days afterwards😂

I cut mine way too short and I accidentally cut my side bangs as well now the bangs keeps going upwards and looks like a mess even tho I ironed it and the only way I can look presentable is when I put a hair band how long did it take for your hair to grow out? This inspired me to cut my own bangs and it went really well!! Trust me, it’s not too hard and so long as you’re very cautious and take you’re time, it will turn out very cute! I started watching videos and researching a week ahead of time and this is as much advice as I can give you if you want to cut your bangs! Make sure you’re cutting the right bangs for you!! Blunt, side swept, curly, wispy, there are many types of bangs so understand your hair type and your face before you grab the scissors. Realize that bangs are a commitment. You need to trim them regularly. Beauty is pain, and sometimes they can get annoying constantly being in your face. If you have oily skin ( like me ) your bangs can get oily so prepare for that. Be 100% of your triangle sliver of hair that you take out to cut your bangs if you’re going for wispy. Often, people overestimate how much bang they want so start with less if you’re scared and you can gradually make the triangle bigger and cut more, thus making your bangs thicker little by little. Make sure you have everything you need!! I made sure my surface that I working at was covered, I had scissors specialized for cutting hair, I had a curling iron already to style my hair once done ( as well as heat protectant spray ), and I had clips and ties to section my hair off in a cleaner, more organized way. CALM DOWN!! The more nervous you are, the shakier you’ll be and the more likely you’ll mess up. I called up some friends and had them comfort me and took a little bit of time to just breath and calm down. No matter what happens, it is temporary and your hair WILL grow out again so calm down. You’re cutting so little hair anyways! CUT LONGER THAN YOU WANT TO. I first cut to my nose, then cut up the TINIEST BIT and styled it. When your curl your bangs, they get shorter ( no duh ) so I made sure that even when they got shorter, they’re still long enough for my liking. Then I went back in and trimmed two to three times until I got to my desired length. When cutting the sides, grabs a reasonable amount of hair and just slowly snip down. Again, grab less than you need and slowly add more hair if you want more side hair. DON’T WORRY!! If you’re cutting wispy bangs, they’re super easy to cover! If you don’t like them, they’ll grow out eventually and you can just part it on the side and it won’t be noticeable assuming that you cut LITTLE HAIR as the term “wispy bangs” intends. Be confident in your new bangs! You look cute, boo. Don’t care about what anyone else has to say. I’m sure you look adorable, so rock them! If you’re extremely nervous, get some fake bangs and practice on those. If you’re broke and want to just see what you’d look like with bangs, you could attempt to pin a section of your hair back to mimic the look of bangs, but I couldn’t do that very well. I’d say wispy bangs are fairly easy to get, but any other bangs I’d suggest a professional. At least to get the shape, then once you get the shape trimming is super easy. Now good luck!! I wish you the best and hope you cuties enjoy your new bangs if you decide to get some!

Thanks I cut my own bangs last year and it didn't turn out well I tried going for front bangs and I cut them too short and it looked funny lol but now they r grown out and longer so hopefully I wont cut them too short again wish me luck.

Actually I think they suit everyone :) since they're see-through it's like you don't have bangs (since you can still see your face shape) yet there's a cute element to it. I've tried having bangs at different times but it just wasn't working, but when I got see-through bangs last year I immediately loved them! So if you're tempted to try you should go for it, nothing to lose! :D

it depends on how thin you cut them , I've had thick and thin bangs ,by far thin bangs are the easiest to keep in shape and if you don't want them in you face theyre easy to swipe back with your hand because they're so thin they usually stay put x

*for everyone unsure whether to get bangs* Go for it! If you don’t like how it turns out you can always hide them! Even if you have wavy hair and want to try this (like me) then go for it, no ones stopping you! Kathy Tang definitely not for oily people :( i had them but at the end of the day they don't look like bangs anymore, it look as if i had one strand on my forehead 😅 So i wouldn't recommend for oily forehead unless you carry a dry shampoo with you all the time :)

She cut it straight across, and it's too short. She was saying that it'll become longer when I straighten it but it still doesn't look anywhere like Coco's. @@Estrellita2300 If you want to cut wispy bangs, I suggest cutting them thicker than the person in the video. I have seen kpop idols with big foreheads that have wispy bangs and it looks really good on them, so I don't see why you can't look good in wispy bangs too :)

Bangs can irritate the forehead acne unless you use some moisturizer or aloe.

Doesn't work for greasy hair 💀

usually when u cut your bangs it will fell flat on your forehead right??? but mine was not 😂😂😂 thats why i end up having a very short bangs curling in to my forehead #horror

You guys should watch shows from the 80s-90s, for example look up the Full House cast. Everyone, yes even males, had funky ass bangs. This is just another revival trend, that people are obsessing over, especially Koreans/general asian population. If you style yourself like a granny, then you're pretty much up to trend and fashionable in 2017. ✌🏻😂

I just cut my bangs two days ago. Mine are still kind of see through but I wish I cut less like yours. Mine aren't as easy to hide when I part my hair to the side like how I've been doing for years. Looks so good on you! Definitely will cut it like yours if I cut them again.

I’m gonna try this I tried to do this before but I made it into full bangs and not the ones u made so I grew them out and they are finally long enough and I’m gonna do it again!wish me luck!
