To some Koreans who still think they are better than Filipinos because of wealth. Remember that Filipinos are happy people and korea have a high suicidal rate, it just show happiness is not measured by your bank account. Respect one another and dont look down on someone just because you have a fair skin.. one day all of us will get old and will be ugly to the eyes of shallow young eyes.

For Filipinos, what stings most about this whole thing is the fact that Filipinos have developed a fondness for South Korea because of its k-dramas and kpop (and skincare), aside from another fact that we were actually the first Asian nation to send soldiers to SK during your war. More importantly, the Philippines is home to 93,000 South Koreans and hosted about 2 million Korean tourists last year and we normally encounter rude, prejudiced, or racist Koreans everyday in our own country. Certainly they are not the majority and to be sure they don't represent your country. But this is why some Filipino netizens have also reacted in a very rude manner, the emotional response extends beyond the internet, we live it everyday. BUT some of our reactions were also rude so it is also not acceptable and I also feel sorry about that. I feel sad that we have to apologize for the behavior of our own people, at the same time it is heartwarming to see many Koreans and Filipinos not condoning these netizens.

I was in love with Korea because of Kdramas so I was shocked when I learned about this thing just yesterday, but anyways everything happens for a reason. We Filipinos knows how to forgive thats how God wants us to be. Those ignorant doesn't represent the whole Korea. in every country there are toxic people and most of them were lacked of attention, love and care. " Forgive your enemies, and God will forgive you also" That's how God teached us . Peace be with all, its really good to live a life with out anger, envy and hatred in our hearts.

Hello, I'm also a Korean and am ashamed by this whole incident but just wanted to point out that Japan-Korea relationship is quite different from any other relation Japan has. We were always the closest neighbor of Japan and know them better than anyone. Japan has a deep-rooted Samurai culture where once people recognize a superior being, they obey. It is very different in Korea where even Kings run away (or the leadership fails to fight back), it's always the Korean people who rise up. That's how we won the war against Japan in the late 16th century when they first invaded us. My point is, when Japan colonized Korea, they were extremely surprised by how resilient ordinary Koreans war (like the 3.1 movement - you can still see this when people impeached president in 2017) and this caused a much severe aggression by the Japanese in Korea, more so than in any other nation. Korean was also extremely proud country at the time, as it was mainly Korea that passed important cultural and religious heritage to Japan during 5-7th century (and it was the opposite during colonization as Korea was heavily influenced by Japan). With both party knowing this, suppression escalated even more. Coming back to present, we would also like to move forward, and we don't blame the Japanese. Instead, we are infuriated at the Japanese Government who keeps denying horrible atrocities committed during WWII. About 52% of all comfort women were from Korea, all other countries made up the rest of 48%. I hope this number alone gives you a sense of how much oppression was concentrated in Korea compared to other regions. Again, I'm totally on the Filipino's side on this issue, but just wanted to clarify why Koreans have a more traumatic experience from the Japanese colonization. And again, sincere apology as another Korean - I love Philippines and hope we can get along.

If there's one he/she is well educated. A matured person can educate others of what they have done wrong, toxic people starts bashing instead of educate them. In the first place, the Rising Sun Flag is not a war criminal plane, but the official flag of the Japan Self-Defense Forces that is still in use, right? In other words, it is recognized under international law. It's completely different from Hagen Kreuz. Rather, it is a flag that must be used officially. It's crazy to say that it's a bad thing. What's more, Koreans who discriminate against unrelated Filipinos because of that are doing something wrong.

@@JustMe-de6bp I have no issue with Chinese or Koreans being offended by the RSF ( Rising Sun Flag ). Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. But I am against flag-burning, flag-stomping, etc. because it's not civilized behaviour. Respect other people's flags if you expect them to respect yours. The RSF , unlike the Nazi swastika, has been used since more than a thousand years ago, and symbolises the spirit of the entire Japanese nation, unlike the Nazi swastika flag, which is just a political symbol the Nazis used when they came into power in the 1930's. While respecting the rights of others, I will not let anyone interfere with my right to display the Japanese RSF whenever and wherever appropriate.

You guys no need to apologize you didn't do wrong. the one should apologize is "JITLER" we want him to apology to Filipinos thats all.. just a single sentence to say SORRY TO ALL FILIPINOS just a 1 second video by JITLER it's enough to us.. we accept it from him.. if even left a good heart a 0.0000000000000000001%

Thanks for clearing this issue.....Filipino people went through a horrible experienced with the Japanese during WWll. My great grand parents killed by the Japanese soldiers but we already left behind us because we moved on with our life. And I think the girls should not not apologize for having that tattoo in her arms. But as a Filipino I really appreciated the way you depended the situation.

Honestly, you come across waaaaay more like legit and professional newscasters than those in the big networks. I, personally, think we've (meaning Koreans and Filipinos alike) made more progress towards fixing everything, shedding all the hate and sticking to love and peace. But those news reports are shamelessly biased and stirring bad things again. I pray they'll stop doing that. People like you don't need to apologise because you never did anything wrong and you've always just explored new things with open minds! Kudos to you, and SALAMAT! Let's never let evil things manipulate us to sink to their level. :)

I just came across this vlog by accident and I appreciate how mature these two guys responded - sharing their thoughts on the matter (which I honestly haven’t really heard prior to this), in a serious but still light manner. People who travel and experience different cultures are this way - open-minded, tolerant of other cultures, and respectful of others (regardless of color, nationality, gender, etc). Thanks

I feel sad that having ‘bad comments’ or toxic keyboard warriors has been a big social problem in S.Korea. I am no longer surprised with the celebrities committing suicide due to rude bashers on social media. Not to to mention the toxicity in the fandom world in the entertainment industry in S.Korea is something else.. it is another level.😫😟

I am praying for your Country because I am grateful they blessed me in many ways, and all those memories I will keep for a lifetime 🙏 Fighting!

I saw that video when our flag being spit and torn. Its sad but I didn't mind it really cause I didn't understand where the hate came from. Till today that I had time to explore KZread, and understand. As a Filipina I am still fond of watching kdrama, and Korean youtuber. I realized that even if sad things might happend, we could be angry or sad but our fondness to kdrama, culture, to the Korean people in general would remain. Hearing your language seem music to my hears. Love and hospitality will always be in our hearts to be passed to generations to generations. Lets overcome hatred with love. 💐💐💐
