while I understand your point, try to see from their pov too. Korea is still very conservative, especially when it comes to showing skin, and i don't think there's a right or wrong for this. @@Hotcheetos777 it’s fine to be conservative and have your own personal beliefs. I don’t think using a culture as an excuse to talk about a women’s body constantly is ok IMO no matter the culture (coming from someone who also comes from a conservative culture, I wouldn’t tolerate it with my culture). As I said it’s fine to have your own opinions and be more conservative but they have commented a lot on videos when a women’s body is their and I think it’s just a bit dissapointing now. Because in the end they sometimes miss the messages or what the representation is of the music videos. No offence to you of course ☺️

That's what most Korean men are like unfortunately. Not all, of course, but a good majority of male K-pop idols are known notoriously for trying to tear a female down because of just their outfits and body. Dreamcatcher is one of my current favorites, in terms of musicality and talent AND looks, and one reason is they say, before every show, "if anyone tries to come on-stage, if anyone tries to say hurtful things to us up here, and if we see any kinds of harassment here we will stop until you've been escorted out." I like that they are also not afraid to voice their own opinions and will very much call someone out, especially Korean men, if they feel it necessary.

Don't mind me here lurking in the comments. I'm just looking for good rants about the two dudes on this video. They have a lot courage being that judgemental about Lady Gaga knowing that this would be going on the internet. They didn't even listen properly to the first couple of songs. They constantly made fun of her past and her body.

The guys pissed me off lowkey, learn to listen to music without commenting on a woman’s body or how much skin she shows. And seeing the girls so concerned about her severe weight loss is sweet. Truly shows, doesn’t it?

Obviously this does not go for all Asians, but I have noticed the more I've become more aware of K-pop and K-rock and more aware of what the fans are like, especially Koreans, it's a LOT of Korean men that act like narrow-minded and only focused on the body and face and not the lyrics, dancing, music, and talent involved. That especially extends to these guys by feel of them. They're definitely embodying that typical Korean male gaze as to what I've become used to seeing. I love Dreamcatcher, but it's not just for their looks. I like that they're not afraid to be themselves and to try to do different concepts and really experiment with their style.
