I think nayeon expresses more cleaner and smoother moves which makes it more pleasing to watch while jihyo expresses more powerful and energetic moves which makes it more entertaining to watch. For me I’d say I like Jihyo’s dancing more simply because I like watching idols who put lots of energy into their moves

Let's just say that Nayeon is the perfect idol dancer, she's good at controlling her movements to make it look easy and appealing. While Jihyo has more of an actual Dancer vibes (as said here), she tries to make her movements bold and big. I think that's also the reason why LaChica likes her the most.

I tend to appreciate clean and precise moves, that's why Nayeon's fancams are for me one of the most satisfying to watch. She keeps the same energy during the whole song and her movements are really smooth and neat. She's not the center for nothing :) As for Jihyo her energy on stage is really incredible and she always seems to enjoy herself she's indeed one of the best performer in the group along with Nayeon, Momo and Sana.

God once really can't stand seeing someone praising nayeon anyway shout out to my lead dancer who dances prettily with good facial expressions, Nayeon is truly an ace ❤

She's literally the jennie of twice.. Im not a once just because I don't really like most of their music , I like the girls from what I have seen and how genuine and friendly they are with idols I bias.. But nayeon is so charming, jihyo too is growing on me.. Honestly nayeon makes me want to dive deeper into the group, I have seen her vlives and she's so genuine and seems so personable, but I see so much hate for her on Twitter and also in the comment sections so much bitterness... Am I right in thinking shes being treated like jennie? Center being hated is very common for solo stans who think their bias are underappreciated they take it out on popular members.. I feel that's what I'm seeing in this case

But when i see any post related about twice i find there is no comments about how she is so hardworking and doing her best but instead i find complaints that "Why jyp give her lead dancer position?" "Why she have so more lines in song?" but thay don't appreciate about her singing or dancing. And the same thing i see about jennie.

Definitely a matter of preference. Nayeon to me is a perfect dancer very controlled and graceful. Jihyo is a burst of energy, very expressive but still a curate. I’m actually amazed that Twice members have their own style but they still look cohesive as a group. This is why I enjoy looking at individual fancams and their dance relays bc its so interesting to see their different styles. Glad they didn’t compare Momo bc I personally think she’s the best dancer in Twice. and this is coming from a Jihyo stan.

I haven’t really looked at Nayeon’s dance separately before. Jihyo and Momo tend to stand out more obviously in group performances. But this video made me really appreciate Nayeon’s dance style as well. It’s very refined and detailed. It doesn’t really stand out, but when you look closely and pay attention her movements are very elegant and beautiful.

Nayeon is more on clean, and precise movements. Aside from Momo, she's the one who learns the choreography the fastest, and her dance is really fluid. I especially like how her hands play to her advantage (it's more graceful to look at when you have bigger hands). When you watch Nayeon, it feels like the moves are clean and simple so it feels like the choreo is simpler or can be broken down easily. Jihyo, on the other hand, is more of power and expressions. Her performances are full of energy, and her stamina is evident. A lot of ppl say she is overdancing, especially beside dancers like Nayeon, but it's just that her movements are a lot bigger and bolder (in a way, her personality, too). She has good isolation and good "basic skills". I honestly prefer Jihyo's style because I'm more on open and free style dancing, and girl got good reputation with this. I enjoy both of their fancams (along with Momo's).

I personally prefer nayeon. Her fancams are my favourite. After watching them I feel good.

Nayeon is the center of the group that's why she balance her dance.

Nayeon was in a serious car accident as a child and suffered damage to one side of her body. As a result she is weaker on that side and sometimes her leg gives out, causing her to be off balance or fall. Jihyo is definitely my favorite. She has such a performer quality about her that is impossible to teach and that's why even when she's in the back of formations, she always stands out. People are constantly praising her for her energy and strength that she puts into Twice's choreography and I can't help but agree with them.

I think Nayeon fits the idol mould more in terms of being more precise, coordinated with the group and focussing a lot on how she looks when she dances but I think Jihyos dancing is more entertaining and eye catching. You can see the energy and effort she puts in always

Most promoted this year is Dahyun almost with 20 variety appearances more than Nayeon who actually debuted solo to hype the group cb. Nayeon only has lines. They've been giving Jihyo and Sana more center time than the actual center. Nayeon also had the most basic outfit during this TTT cb but guess what she's the only one who went viral. Sana, Dahyun and Mina are more often given the prettier outfits meanwhile Nayeon just gets the short plain dresses. You can't accept the fact that Nayeon is way more successful than all the other girls so you resort to lying. Look at this cb with barely any Nayeon appearances, its flopping as expected because they put DaJeongHyo as main promoters in shows. Exactly. It doesn't make sense to have one that stands out from the group. If Tzuyu needs to bend her legs to match the overall group height then everyone should be dancing within the realms of the dance vibe. I prefer Nayeon also, easy to the eyes and yet so satisfying.

When you see Jihyo on stage, you realize that she is a main dancer. She is easily one of the best idols of her generation, and she breaks standards with her dancing. Including the fact that she is vocal, you can appreciate a lot more that she gives her all. It doesn't care much how it looks, rather it gives a good performance. Her stage presence is the best in twice, from her expressions to her dancing. It's nice to know that a great dancer like Seungsik gives her the recognition she deserves.

Sooo.. i also think you wouldn't be able to tell if I'm a dancer or not because even though i haven't talked about the technique or about her slip on the performance, i dance other rhythms that have nothing to do with kpop. i saw the video so i now what they said about Nayeon! I just highlighted one important point, they recognized that jihyo is a good dancer, also, you say that her dancing is sometimes a "little to much" but that is what makes her have a good stage presence , maybe you're so into the standard that you don't realize that her dance is just good and it's not "a little too much" but of course we will have different opinions so let's leave it there, have a good day! 🙂

Me too. The best part is her expressions and energy remains consistent throughout the performance. You would never see her slacking or expressionless even when she's not focused.

For me i choose jihyo because her charisma just woww at dance and stage presence, she slay every comeback and her dance just powerful and nayeon also has great dance.

I love this because I'm so tired of people downplaying the other one to say the other member is better. They're both amazing dancers with different styles. The healthy comparison they did just proves that they both deserve the praise without having to downplay the other one.

i respectfully prefer watching jihyo dancing more since she's a performer through and through and really makes watching live stages so fun. she has amazing facials, technique, just the right amount of energy and is easily one of 3rd gens best performers and that's what kpop is about. so glad she's in twice tbh she has the best stage presence in the group

Every time I see the comments that some overseas once ignores Nayeon, I get sick of it. I can't tell if they're once or Nayeon's antis. Can't they praise both Nayeon and Jihyo?

im glad they appreciated nayeon's dancing because most audience (non-dancers) tend to look at energy more and base the dancer's skills on that which is not always the case at all :)

I hope onces watch this and stop invalidating Nayeon as Twice's lead dancer

Nayeon is such an underrated dancer. Her moves are so clean and pleasing to watch. She can dance precisely and at the same time she looks effortless. It's hard for a dancer to look effortless and at the same time precise and clean with their moves. That's why she's a lead dancer, Nayeon balances those out. I also like Jihyo's dancing, she deserves to be a main dancer. She should've been a main dancer together with momo. Overall, my fave twice dancers are Momo, Jihyo, Nayeon and Sana.

+ also Tzuyu improved a lot I can also see why she's a lead dancer, she has those qualities to be a lead dancer. It's just that sometimes I feel like when I watch her dance, she looks like she's conscious or she lacks the presence due to low confidence. But right now during their comeback, she looks more confident thus making her have that type of presence nayeon has and sana's charm when they're dancing.

Jihyo - Like what the other dancer said, she has the basic skills (bc she trained longer) which means she has the foundation and also the reason why her details look different. She can move her pelvis, arms or legs well at the same time which is sometimes hard for other dancers. Nayeon - Her style is for Idol dancing, she knows how to project her face prettily, which is the main focus of being an idol. No big movements but bc she has big hands like what they said, it emphasizes the choreo well and it looks clearer. So who's better dancer? My objective and subjective opinion Standard and perfect for Idol dancing: Nayeon Technically and has more potention to be a pro: Jihyo (she's also the best performer in TWICE for me)

Jihyo not only have perfect visual, beautiful, natural, her voice so powerful and also her dance so dynamic, that's why she deserve to be leader. Proud to be her fans 💗
