I really like YG and SM style of dance. It feels like the different is so significant for this two.

For YG they should've chosen a more intense song from treasure. Or they should've chosen something from iKON cause they have unique moves and their choreos look easy but it's actually hard but the way they execute seems easy.

Exactly they could've done i love you or jikjin for treasure. I'm tired of people saying that yg artists are not great dancers. Just because they focus more on moving free on stage doesn't mean they can't dance.

hybe is all about big movements and popping. really dynamic

SM dances look neat but if you look at the fancams, each member has unique vibe and dancing style

Yes, that's right. On fancams, each member's dance styles and vibe are unique. It's just that when they are put into a group, when you look at the whole group and in a bigger picture, they're all like one. YG, on the other hand, shows all members' characters and expressions, and styles in their own ways, so I think that's why it's easy for even professional dancers can catch each member's styles among one group dancing together.

I think rather than HYBE, this shows the dancing styles of Bighit since the two groups featured are from there. Since HYBE is an amalgamation of different companies, I feel like there should also be an inclusion of Pledis’ Nu’est and Seventeen and Be:lift’s Enhypen to really showcase HYBE since these groups trained with their own companies rather than with HYBE. Otherwise, this is just a comparison of SM, JYP, YG and Bighit.

ENHYPEN mostly trained by BigHit though. Most of the members are from BigHit & Son Sondeuk is also their choreographer (same with BTS, TXT). But its Yes for SEVENTEEN. Since they are adopted, fully trained by their own company. And they should’ce included them. At least ENHYPEN.

I like SM's choreographies the most but with YG, it's more versatile. The songs and the choreography always feel like you can jam and freestyle with them easily and it's meant for big events like concerts and festival. I also love the earlier choreographies of JYP cause they're also very memorable and catchy. Who can forget the iconic 'nobody'?

I just love YG’s style so carefree and cool, they focus on gestures and facial expressions. They know how to entertain a crowd. That’s why they’re sought after for festivals or big crowd gathering events.

txt specifically have the most fresh yet complex choreos ive ever seen

starting to realize that hybe has the most intense and synchronized groups, sm has unique movements but very clean so it doesn't look odd, jyp loves their formations and big movements, while yg kinda just feels the rhythm of the song and has a viral move for the chorus (I wish they could show more of their dancers skills but they're doing a better job with treasure's choreo)

NCT U, 127, Dream and WayV have the most intense and synchronised choreos and they're not under HYBE. Under HYBE, only SVT has that. Wakey Wakey, Firetruck, thr 7th Sense etc. Are untouched. Wakey Wakey esp is among the hardest bg choreos in Kpop due to how many elements it has. If you don't do it well, it ends up look terrible and messy as members have very different parts among themselves during many sections of the choreo

well YGE is a hip-hop company even though they use to hv a ballad or rnb soloist or group, even SE7EN who's also use to be under YGE hv a dance song & his dance is so freaking amazing. Also BIGBANG & 2NE1 during their young day, they hv that freaking intense & synchronised dance but they break it bcs they want to enjoy the song more then having intense dance. Also if you look up during BIGBANG, 2NE1, WINNER, iKON & BLACKPINK young days you can see how perfect their dance skils is. Just bcs now days they use not hv more intense choreo doesn't mean their dance skills is not show, it's just it is their way to do more swag & freestyle choreo.

@@knightenchanter7908 intense doesn't necessarily mean difficult (taemin's move choreo is a good example of not power driven but extremely difficult moves to execute) I meant intense as in power driven movements, just to name a few: seventeen - hit, getting closer and very nice bts - fire, on, idol, not today and dope enhypen - drunk-dazed and tamed-dashed txt - crown and orangeade and no rules

SM and YG are the ones with a more distintic dance style for me

For me ,SM is first when it comes to dance, they have the best dancers in the kpop industry . And their choreographies are always top tier. As that girsl said "they show the best example of idol dance". "sm idols groups express the standard choreography the best " 👌🏻.

YG artists focus on live stages and less about choreo cuz they have stage presence & swag so they don’t need heavy choreo but Treasure is a heavy choreo group that have it all so they’re definitely special 🤩 JikJin especially has hard choreo 💎

Honestly they totally described JYP dance style perfectly, like there is a lot of creativity, just like they said the moves are made to portray the lyrics which not only gets you intrigued but makes it fun to watch, and I want to add how formations are a important part of their choreography ( Twice flower formation) not just in the choreography but the begin and the end like look at ITZY with their crown formation ending ( so satisfying hehe) , I guess these are some of the reasons why I really love not Just groups of JYP but the Dance style as well

Still though. OP id kinda right. If others are showing off their best rather than representative dances, YG should at least show off theirs too. They can do hard dances too while staying true to their styles.

Classic YG sound is chill dance songs that combines catchy upbeat tune with a laidback demeanor ( Examples - Last Farwell, Fantastic Baby, Really Really, Haru Haru, Go Away, Can't Nobody, Going Crazy, Love Scenario, etc.) and mid-tempo R&B ballad-ish songs (Examples - Lonely, Blue, Empty etc.).

i think they picked darari because 1: its recent and 2: it has the chill vibes that they wanted to point out when they were talking about YG choreographies. jikjin, boy, and MMM have a more intense vibe and are less YG in some ways in my opinion, those songs kind of feel like YG is trying something new by adding more synchronized dance type choreographies to their roster.

txt performing that intense cardio-like dance for their DEBUT will forever remain iconic,,, the whole dance feels so much like a workout with the intense jumping and sharp moves lmao

JYP and their focus on telling a story through dance is what attracts me to them. SKZ are masters at conveying their song lyrics into the choreography to tell the story and they have great input in it so it feels infinitely authentic. Every move is part of the story and it’s not just a gimmick that may look cool but overall has no meaning. Twice and Itzy’s choreo also has this element.

WINNER might not have the sharpest, most intense choreos in the video, but one can't deny that their choreos have the easiest to recall, and easier to follow. WINNER represents YGE's chill, cool, swag dance moves the company is commonly known for

I don't tell that they are not a good dancers...but they are not the type of group whose syncronity is their advantages..

I was surprised that Enhypen was not included in this video for HYBE. Their choreo is absolutely insane and they are probably one of the best 4th gen groups in dance. Even one of their choreographers said they were told to make the choreo hard because Enhypen will get it and he said they are so good. He choreographed for BTS, TXT and Enhypen.

sm choreographers know how to make a choreo fit the song and have key moves which always go viral...it's such a good thing that sm choreographers dont leave after just one time choreographing because they get closer to the groups and know better on how to work together. sm rlly on top for me, especially recently. theyve been killing the game with kick it, next level...

Agree. they are really skilled dancers tho I don't think they really need heavy choreography 'cause when they perform, especially on concerts they tend to freestyle and just jam freely which I super love. It always feels like party or chill with YG's song lol

I like yg vibes coz it feels like you can join them anytime..such a choreography and every artist in Yg the SWAG & CHARISMA dude it's overflowing, their choreography looks fun, you can imitate every dance choreo but the swag and charisma naaah!!

This is why I'm more drawn to JYPs groups. I learn the song through the chores in which they bring out the energy and the emotions. They stick to the theme the best from the albums, to the lyrics and themes of each songs in the albums, the mv, the choreo, the visuals, the stages and they carry it all to the end!

No hate, but in my opinion yg is also about being different, having fun, and individualism too, not just hip hop… winner’s dance practices embodies that individualism pretty damn well (I mean they could’ve showed bang bang bang too, has the same feel to it, all 5 have such different styles) and it depends on opinion whether ppl like it or not but it is very yg style. Darari’s dance practice gives the cute and fun feeling that is very rare in fourth gen or even other companies now, I think that is being different from others. Don’t think it has to be about hip hop and intense choreo, cuz yg has never been about that. I think individualism is the gist of YG. But then I also get why people want them to react to ikon and treasure’s harder choreographies to break the stereotype that yg artists can’t dance. But that’s not really necessary cuz we all know they’re amazing dancers and don’t have to prove themselves.

7:06 btw NCT DREAM have dances like that. Eg- Dive into you. NCT is not limited to a particular genre whether its their dance or music and that's their merit. If you look at NCT dream We Young,Go basically their dance in old songs are creative and lyrics detailed. During early years their dances were tough from beginning to end .Now in their 7th year,the dance is hardcore only in dance break and chorus (not most times eg Boom,Sticker) it has become free. Basically at first their style changed from JYP,HYPE (with a lil touch of SM in line formations) and now they went to a mixture of SM×YG

HYBE has their own aura and they made it ❤💜

I agree on this! The PD should've pick the song where they can showcase more their YG Blood. YG is not just coolness and swag and we know that which is why we have Darari and Orange but from the theme of the video the PD should've picked BOY or JIKJIN and that is their latest title song tho! Darari is a little more popular because of tiktok but this is also a chance to promote their title song which is kinda a little disppointing.

I'm a JYP entertainment stan when it comes to choreography and catchy music. Their choreographers really embody originality making it more fun to watch the idols' dance performances. Other companies are also good like SM and Hybe but I usually just watch the M/V itself and not much of the dance choreography since their movements are already familiar to me.

MMM, BOY, JIKJIN, I LOVE YOU와 같은 메인곡 대신에 B면 Treasure 곡을 선택한 이유는 매우 이상합니다.

Right. Everyone knows YG has amazing choreography but they choose one with less.

Sm choreography have killing part and is always neat

SM is just so good for the eye, even if the choreo goes hatd tgey manage to make it look simple, as if they were born to do it, like it's their nature. I've been a pink blood for 10+ years and following all tge groups. It really is the best idol dance style. Also for NCT I'd say they follow the classic hiphop concept the most among the groups that exists now. Also SM really pays attention to details like angkes, lines, space. Also it's so cool to see how unit dance became common among other groups after NCT started using it in all of their dances. Like even their senior groups adopted it which is really appreciable. You guys summed up jyp well. As for yg.... It's almost like freestyle, like they're thinking about concert performance while making the choreo(I miss bb TT). As for hybe, tgey make it look way too hard, like almost as if it's paining them, so I think it's good that now they went for a much easier approach and focused on vibe, it's more charming to see when you make a choreo look as if it's naturally flowing through your body. Lol. Love all of them. But it's SM for me (*´˘`*)♡

"Make it look way too hard"? LOL thats cos it is HARD.... Hybes choreos and intensity are literally the standard....one of the reasons BTS got so much attention in the beginning was because they covered all round power, fluidity and sync. They were just unmatched.

SM has most clean standard choreography. Goes well with the song... SM

Just a thought, why show Darari Treasure’s most chill choreo when songs like MMM, Jikjin, Boy, and ILY exist??

hmm..why u compare YG with darari-a slow tempo song?if u want comparasion, u should pick songs with same tempo for each..treasure have jikjin,mmm,boy,i love u or ikon with almost the same tempo with others songs..but yeah nevermind, we do have our own way too hype up our fav

Damn right! I don't get the logic of choosing Darari when it's only a chill b-side track whom they only made a choreo because of the viral TikTok video. It doesn't even embody YG dance style in my opinion. They should've pick from iKon's cause they have that swag and laid back type of dancing which YG is known for.

You should put TREASURE's BOY or MMM! They can dance super welllllll!!! So talented.

There are a lot of TREASURE Songs if they want to put in this video but they choose the side track only, that's too weak to show YG's swag^^I hope they could have chosen the better songs of TREASURE to react for YG's style~my POV! @@rlcz1231 That's their fault of choosing the wrong song. Darari is just a b-side and it is not suit for like this kind of video Reaction for Big4 companies "Comparison of choreography features"! There is something lacks to show YG's swag by comparing with Darari! So, I think TO_OK is recommending or suggestion to put some TREASURE songs which are suitable for this comparison video to show the real YG's Swag! ✌️

Individualism is very important in YG to shine together is great but to also shine solo is even greater

Honestly that's why i like YG especially in 4th gen when its literally just a dance competitions going on , YG artists still have more freedom of expression on stage. of course treasure is definitely the most dance centric group ever in YG but still they also have that groove and do freestyle which i personally love. Because as much as it is nice to look at synchronised movements and every memeber doing the same thing. I like it more when each member can perform and express themselves like an artists and not just idols. I like how YG promotes individualism and together they're always the powerhouses.

Synchonization = robotic. This is such a big misconception. Several people can follow the same choreography but execute it in their own style. And also, the misconception about idols not being artists. An individual can be both.

Concept, story, intensity and synchronisation... hybe all the way! 1st Hybe 2nd SM/JYP 4th YG

I would say I personally like SM's dance style the best, Kasper-nim is just a top-tire choreographer. But as an individual dancer, J-Hope all the way takes the crown for me.

I hope you would react to NCT dream... NCT's youngest sub-unit. I always love how their concept "Growth" can be shown in their every comeback... and the way that you will see them improve as a group and as an individual in polishing their skills as an idol. So I really hope you will react to them.

For me, i love SM's choreographies. It's dynamic, smooth and clean. And the artists have this natural swag when they do it and add their own dance style to it. The subtle and minimal movements make it more impactful and engaging. You can see their own styles but at the same time they can be synchronized as well. Most SM choreographies are not into "big and strong" movements. They are more on control, flow and fluidity of the movements, which for me are more difficult due to the amount of body control.

Disagree. Power and synchronisation are much more difficult. Especially considering the energy and intensity needed for it while singing live.

HYBE choro always goes either with the style of the music or the message of the lyric's and they don't remain with one style of dance either just like their music and they'll mix different styles of dance just has they mix different genre of music. They are extremely adaptable and don't relay simple on one single element or style. Versatility is the key.

It's a little funny.They use different genres of music to compare the dances of each record label.

I like yg's dance style they don't exagerate their move they be enjoying and vibing the music.

Should have chosen other TREASURE song dance practice. Why choose DARARI when the beat of the song is slow. Should have chosen "BOY, MMM, JIKJIN or their SBS DAEJUN DANCE PRACTICE". I don't get it🤔🤔

Every company has their own dancing style but when it comes to best dancers individually, SM just take the banton. My most favourite choreos comes from NCT bcs their choreo looks cool, hard, energetic and full of swag. NCT has their own unique style of dancing. I really wish u guys could react to all main dancers of NCT(Ten, Taeyong, Shotaro, Jisung) to see difference in their dancing styles.

Bro you all should have chosen energetic songs like JikJin, I Love U, Boy, MMM, etc ... for YG not the B-side songs !! 🤷🤦😐🙄 For me YG is the best because all dance steps get viral in no second and even their b-side songs and Comeback songs is very refreshing and energetic and everyone can dance like D4, KTL, JikJin, HYLT,etc.... !!

i like jyp and sm, their choreo so iconic and unique

SHINee got the sharpness in every of their performance. Powerful live (Everybody, Sherlock, Don't Call Me), Groove (Replay, Juliette, View), Lyrics-based (Lucifer, Sherlock). Let's not mention other B-sides. Basically SHINee work with each and every company 💁🏻‍♂️
