As an American, this is my first time hearing the phrase Alternative Pop. I hear Aldult Aldertanive, but never Alternative pop.

Please react more with Melanie Martinez please especially her new After School EP and The Bakery.

If you really look into Melanie Martinez's songs/albums every music video is actually a building up story. In Mad Hatter, it is the process of her getting her powers (kinda like a ritual) that's why her eyes turned completely black after eating the cute donut in the end of the music video. I think, the album K-12 is the continuation of that one where she goes to school and lots of sht happen which requires her to use her power etc. K-12 album is actually like a movie/musical. That album includes songs like: Wheels on the bus Class fight Detention Nurse's office Recess Highschool sweetheart Principal Teacher's pet Orange juice Strawberry shortcake Idk if there's more. The songs I mentioned are not in order tho.

I saw the 3 legends on the cover, I clicked because they are amazing but are alternative pop
