I disagree with removing the between-set segments when arrows are being counted and retrieved, especially when there's an * at play. It only takes a few minutes, no reason to cut it.
Excellent job team China, Korea will bounce back, keep practicing and all will be well .

I don't understand the klicker. What is its purpose?

It moves off the end of the arrow and clicks against the riser or an extension when the archer has reached their draw length. It encourages a repeatable draw length. Variations in draw length gives a vertical spread at the target. Using a clicker prevents this variation. It takes a bit of time to shoot well with a clicker. If it isn't set correctly it can become a hindrance. Some people cannot shoot without one as it becomes a 'trigger'. There are different views about how it should be used. I am best with my clicker when I'm in control and I consciously react to it. When it becomes unconscious I shoot less well. That said, some archers I know shoot better when it becomes a subconscious trigger for them. Horses for courses, I suppose.

Why condensed? We miss out on most of Shef’s excellent commentary (not so much bothered about missing the other guy’s inane drivel). And, why so delayed? Last year’s coverage of major archery was poor and always very, very late - I was hoping that you’d buck up your ideas this year but, apparently not.

Certainly, as the era of natural population decline began in earnest through the COVID-19 era, Korean sports have gradually collapsed in all areas since 2020. Between 2008 and 2012, it was definitely their peak and the peak of the sports cycle
One of the rules of archery when it comes to performance is “only change one thing at a time” so Korea change all 3 proven archers….

How about "you're only as good as your last result"? Past medalists get no favours in their selection process, and that seems to have worked for the last 9 Olympics.

@@chrisgorman1652 so by that rationale, these 3 should be replaced for losing here? Big tournament and Olympic experience counts. As does shooting in an established team.

@Nemesis_121 Their goal is the Olympics. They have placed their selection process before World Cups before (i.e. didn't attend World Cup events when they clashed with their internal Olympic selection process).

Korea should at least have 1 experienced athlete in the team. They seem to not care about the mental aspect of the game

It’s a competitive sports. You lose some and you win some. It’s a mantra every athlete understands. Such a pity some keyboard warriors here don’t. Just support your team objectively iso criticising their selection. Sheeh

양궁계 에도 정치적 감독들이 대거 입성했나? 스포츠 협회에 정치(낙하산) 이 개입되면 후진국 선진국 막론하고 다 망했다. 우리나라 강국 스포츠 종목??? 최고 강했던 스포츠 분야를 분석해 보면 걍 내 딸, 내 아들만 성공 했고 세계적 스타가 되었다. 협회와 관계 없었던 시절 또는 어쩌면 협회를 도망쳤던 그러한 선수들만 세계적 스타들로 존재 한다! 절대 협회에 정치가 개입되면 걍 망한다! 현실적 좋은 예가 중국 축구 이다. 이제까지는 코오롱에 정치적 개입이 없었는데... 뿌리까지 망할 윤!! '천' 인 '공' 로 쥐 새끼 하나가 키운 새끼들 에 의해 대한민국이 대한민국 건국 이래 모든 업적을 다!... 모두 마이너스로 돌리고 있다. 참담하다! 헌 우리의 감각이!
