Here I am

In my college days, when we were in the hostel room, this song would play somewhere in the distance on a loudspeaker. It was very pleasant to listen to this song in the night after 10 pm, especially in the months of June, July, and August, under the moon light. The song, as sweet as honey, would melt our hearts, while the music, like a gentle breeze, would caress our souls. Together, they would transport us to a world of pure bliss, where time stood still and all our worries melted away. Many years have passed, but the memory of that song still fills me with joy. I often close my eyes and imagine myself back in the hostel room, surrounded by my friends, listening to that enchanting melody. It takes me back to a time of innocence and happiness, a time when life was simple and full of wonder. I know that those days will never come again, but I am grateful for the memories I have. They are a precious treasure that I will cherish forever. And whenever I feel sad or lost, I just need to think of that song and I am instantly transported back to that magical time in my life. Thank you, the singers and music director for creating such a beautiful song. All professional singers have their own peculiar voice and style; so it may not be correct to compare them. Yet the singing style and capacity of Sri Kishorekumar in respect of some types of songs like 'mere sapnom ki raani' (first heared by me about 50 years back) which starts with a humming is quite fantastic; the thrust and effect of that humming, may be, pethaps, can be claimed only by none other than the real Kishoreda; no doubt, cannot undermine all other songs like 'roop thera ....' and the like in 'Araadhana'. Respectful obeisance to that great singer.
