Morişka dence (or "sucitoarea" as they call it in Transylvania) is common in Eastern Europe from Macedonia to Slovakia, from Hungary to Moldova and is a part of a grater ensemble of dances with weapons that dates way before Ancient Rome. Sarmatians cohorts brought by Roman Empire from today Moldavia to Britannia teached the britons Morişca (căluşari dance) and today is Morris Dance (english speaking people cant pronounce "ishka" syllable). PS: Wikipedia is wrong about this dance (it dates from illirians who were related to thracians, dacians, sarmatians, getae and other eastern pre-greek tribes) For romanian style of Morişka search youtube for ..../ Sucitoarea rolling dance

Hvala! We are definitely aware of the correct spelling, we just couldn't find how to make the markings from our American keyboards! don't know how to make those marking - I just copied and pasted from your comments, HVALA!! :-)
