My friend mentioned to DJ Paul after his show at the whiskey in LA about devils play ground 2. And DJ Paul’s said “he’s dead” meaning we won’t hear new stuff. Man, I am lost for words. I am new to the Memphis sound, I have been a fan of rap music since I was very young. I like Thugga, Carti, Sosa but duuude... This is soooo authentic and pure, wavy and experimental. I am from Serbia, we have a group here called ZICER INC, and they are influenced by Memphis. Listen to the song DAMN, for example, it is inspired by the Memphis sound. Cheers :)
