You could do it previously directly in Kontakt but with the MK3 it's super easy to do it from the hardware :)

The Native Instruments Complete Kontrol S-Series is on his way. I think the simplicity of the product is the key. Very good. Thumbs up 👍 Other companies, which developed such MIDI Workstations are often to complicated, in the way they interact with the DAW. Waiting for AI-Support and touchscreen. Maybe in 2025 or 2026. We'll see. 🎼🎸🍀😉

Upgrade options for users who already have Komplete and all the software?

Can this work with the Maschine 2 software if I don’t have my Maschine+ would I be able to keep the same flow and make beats to with this keyboard in the place of the Maschine+ ?

If you load a blank instance of Kontakt into one of the sound slots in Maschine 2 software, you can browse, load, and control your Kontakt instruments and create multi's like you would in a DAW.

I’m super happy with the S88MK3 other than the lack of template and custom light guide support. They keep say it’s coming but gets delayed.

It's a superb keyboard and I can tell the lightguides are much more beautiful than on the videos. I have a little question if someone from NI is here to reply : I like very much the poly-aftertouch fonctionnality, it's very fun, but I'm quite sad that so few libraries use it, only few comme in my mind (Hypha, Fable, Ashlight...). Do you have a list of libraries (NI or not) that provide poly-aftertouch or are those ones the only ones ? I really really hope there will be more in the futur or that previous libraries (like LORES, Pharlight, etc...) will benefit from that. Unless that functionnality is finally dead in the bud :(... Can you tell us more about the futur of it ? Which library have it or could have it ?

Happy to hear you're loving our new keyboard! We don't have a list of libraries that offer polyphonic aftertouch at the moment, and we recommend checking each library's product page for specific details. Rest assured more instruments with this feature are on the way. 😉

So if I purchase this, I would have the full Komplete 14 library and be able to just plug it into my Mac to use on logic straight off? Or do you have to buy komplete first, then this keyboard? Thanks

Strange timing that this should come out now after it’s been out for a good 6 months plus . I hope the significance of this video release is followed by a long overdue firmware update with maybe the promised play assist integration being added to kontakt 7

Hello, I got a question. Do Native Instruments 13 auf 14 Standard have the workstation sounds of the first Version of the Factory Libary. I only can't find Factory library 2.0. Factory Libary 1.0 in Kontakt 6 or 7 in the Native Instruments complete 13 Standard is missing. Why is that. Searched the homepage (Support page) but, coudnt find it on the list. Thanks a lot and kind regards.

I mean I wish they made a clear decision. The expansions are great but clearly directed towards Maschine users. With expansions, why not include presets for Play series etc instead of just Massive, Prism, Battery which are old af.

It stopped being the best sound library when you made the UI significantly harder to use. Normally after a big change it takes a while to get used to it, but its been out for months and its still just as clunky and frustrating as the day it came out.

I reverted back to the previous version instantly after trying the new one. The preset browser closing after choosing a preset was enough to hate it

@@caelenkibler6049 There is a pin icon in Komplete Kontrol 3 (top right) that allows the browser to remain open. Maybe you just missed it? The browser doesn't close if you don't want it to.

If you need over 117,000 presets you aren't doing anything. You're effectively a wedding DJ pushing the space bar on your laptop.
