Is the rebuilt unit good enough compared with initial original unit? i run on this machine full color only and after a while booth drum and developing units need changed. Most technicians say that a remanufatured/rebuilded unit is not on par with unused/unopened/sealed unit, but in the last year i cam to the conclusion that is not entirely true.... (why would have minolta remanufactured units in portofolio ?)

Thank you! We appreciate your feedback. The components in these developer units (mag roller, gears, bearings, spacers, etc.) typically are still in good condition after the stated developer unit cycle (approx. 600K). So, the developer unit can work well 1-2 extra cycles if it is properly rebuilt. Also, keep in mind the price of the new OEM C/M/Y developer units is very high.

am i right to understand that if you dont change the chip the developer unit will not function properly?

Yes, if you don’t change the chip the developer unit may not function properly as the machine is not adjusted for the new developer.

Do you sell the developer bag separately?
