I'm kinda disappointed there wasn't at least one shot of the Alpha Skullcrawler next to the smaller ones just to drive home its size.

Fun fact: According to the Novelisation, both Kong and the Skullcrawlers heard Ghidorah's call, Kong described it as a call to hunt together, which the Skullcrawlers followed. Now imagine the first of the Skullcrawlers, be it the baby ones here or a Skull Devil sized one emerging from vents only to run into a fully grown Kong, a fully grown Kong who despises each and every one of them.

Looking back crazy to see that Suko is a bit bigger than Kong in this movie. He really was a genetic anomaly.

Hollow Earth apes are bigger than Earth apes. Kong's parents were 50m tall while the average Hollow Earth ape is 80m. The reason Kong is this tall is his exposure to radiation.

Ill be honest, this kong doesnt feel the same as he is in gvk. But i cant describe it

Despite only being an adolescent, Kong feels bigger, more gigantic, almost like a living mountain god, not only because of how the movie is directed but also because of how characters talk about him. In GvK, none of the fights feel heavy or impactful because of how ridiculously fast paste and goofy the fights are. GvK turned the Monsterverse into a messy cartoon. Oh, and Kong is now just here so Adam Wingard can have his wet dream of Godzilla kicking everyone’s butt I miss the early MonsterVerse with KSI and KOTM. The kaijus felt imposing and godlike. Now they are all just like cartoonish parodies

We see their death in the Birht of Kong comics. It is truly heartbreaking. They got slaughtered when Kong’s mother was giving birth to her son. The father while holding the crawlers back as he could when the mother hid the newborn Kong in a cave. When the night came, and when the slaughter was over, Kong discovered the bodies of his parents and cried at the skies. Kong was literally born surrounded by death and war

I understand that skull crawlers killed his parents, but wouldn't the parents have been as large as Kong in GvK?? So that would mean there are skull crawlers alot bigger than the one in this movie right??​@valoulegeek7732

@@josec6076 Nah, they were actually smaller, between 50 and 70m tall. Kong is massive for his species as you can see in GxK, he basically towers above every other Ape. The Skullcrawlers that killed his parents were all as big as Ramarak, but were like a whole army, thus decimating Kong’s parents by number + the fact that Kong’s mother was giving birth at that very moment

I figured out the reason I like Kong more than Godzilla its because Godzilla has no enemies on his level like whenever Kong is fighting those smaller skullcrawlers they're close to his level but not quite but when he fights the big one it's obvious that victory is earned But Godzilla vs the MUTOs is just meh

Yeah I get it. The scale of Godzilla's enemies is way more different because Godzilla isn't just another Kaiju he's supposed to be a natural disaster. Kong meanwhile is much more flesh and blood and collects the scars of his fights.
