@adamquenano8563 man I play salad so the extra deck is so tight but I would love to try and make space for some of this new set this is definitely gonna be one of the best sets of the year imo Edit: probably gonna drop the pyro Phoenix line honestly that will get me 3 slots so I can add requiem, moon, and 1 other card from that. But I can't really drop any of the 3 baelynx, the 2 sunlight wolf, the miragestallieo, the promethean or the 2 raging Phoenix that's like 9 slots I realistically can't adjust at all.

Christ, we go from generic omni negates to just themed omni negates. Honestly I have no faith in the design team, they clearly have written themselves into a corner where nothing short of either a floodgate, extender, or a negation. It would just be easier to just have the omni negate on a generic body you need to hard draw. All these combos into extra advantage on the way is just too much. I think the sad part is you can probably just also combine this into a combo pile with rare metalmorph and it'd be even crazier.

Exactly why I thought the baroone and savage ban were bad ideas, so now more or less everyone having a negate ( not all decks had synchro capabilities) got taken away, and only voiceless voice or other decks get one and you don't, so its uneven playground.

So, when will we reach the point of the game where the person who goes first just wins the match? No playing the game because hand traps are too slow and dont do enough to stop 1 card combos and the opponent will always have a field of negates along with the five hand traps?

Can't believe how crazy FS and fiends in general are gonna be after this set. More fiends to terrorize the game.

This upcoming format is going to be like nightmare mode on Diablo. GL everyone and definitely have fun getting blown out of the format by snake eyes, fiendsmith and Yubel. Not looking forward to this at all. 🎉

Aerial Eater helps so much to dump Barrier Statue early and make Wave High King. It’s so crazy!

If you can send the monster equiped with the fiend monster, and the monster that is the equip spell for necroquip as the whole material, it does just make moon of the closed sky verte

Shining Sarc is gonna be so good post INFO. I've got a build that ties up a lot of the issues with the archetype.

The new fiend fusions will be nice with Duke of demise and Spirit illusion in the future, gonna add them to my bakura deck :)

And.................................... I'm sitting this Format out. Y'all have fun out there lol. But no I was kinda excited to try out Fiendsmith since it's supposed to be based on Devil May Cry. However after finding out that they're being printed as Secret Rares, including the new Goddess Link also a Secret, and the Banlist isn't till late next month, I'm just done with this crap. I'll stick to Goat and Domain Format for the time being. Might consider going to another TCG instead.

Wild! I think n Combo two there's a choke point just after they summon Dies Irae where, if you're lucky enough to open Imperm+Nib, you go Nib, they chain Appo, you imperm her there and that should clear the board? Dies Irae doesn't have an equip so at that point only Crossout saves them

11:18 You wouldn't be able to Fusion summon Necroquip Princess here. You need "1 monster equipped with a monster card" + "1 fiend MONSTER". The Fiendsmith on the field would only satisfy the first condition, but there would need to be another Fiend on the field as a monster.

Against popular opinion but this isn’t a strategy game anymore. All built in and some hand holding within each new archetype. This is more a memory based game since most aren’t equip to go outside the usual moves and with decks depending on who they play don’t need to do

This is why i'll never play yugioh competitively (unless konami makes some SERIOUS changes). Its clearly pay to win (for tournaments) and not fun even for those paying to win in the first place. I prefer to just play bad yugioh decks that are actually fun and dont break my bank. (Dinos/red-eyes/ elemental hero etc...)

Necroquip specifies it has to be a "Fiend monster card" not a Fiend monster. As long as the original type of the card in the S/T zone is Fiend you can use it for Necroquip's summoning condition. It's similar to the new Magistus Fusion in OCG where it also specifies "monster card" instead of just "monster" because Magistus puts monsters in the S/T as Equip cards. Funnily enough Necroquip Princess is also Magistus support since they have a Fusion monster that is a Fiend that steals opponent's monsters by equipping itself to them.

These are the combos and strategies that make you realize “Runicks” strategies are completely fair. 😂 Konami is definitely not hitting any Runick cards. I guess my Fur/Runick deck is still viable. Yes!!! 👏

Card role consolidation. Knightmare Phoenix also gives you S/T removal while also being a generic Link 2. The protection on Apo from I:P is nice, but instead of having 2 copies of I:P which are dead cards going 2nd most of the time, you're adding a different Link 2 that has a purpose beyond being material to Link climb.

I would be so much more okay with it if it didnt come at the expense of like 4 months worth of rent every time they drop some new groundbreaking deck mechanic that is required to play the game at even semi competitive levels else you get shit on for being poor :)
