These are quickly becoming my favorite videos from Jev. Nearly 20 minutes long and Jevs intensity/rage makes these fights all the more engaging.

i dont care what jev says but watching play is so intense and enjoyable, like in my opinion this all looks super high level and i am completely impressed lol

living proof of videos don’t need to be over edited, it’s nice to see a simplified video without extra transitions and sounds. :)

If you ever want to improve that isn’t just going into training.. something I sometimes do is rewatch my own matches. Youd be surprised how much you can learn by watching yourself and see where your messing up

Getting elder God as subzero is possible, it just cost me my sanity. Something to help with making the overhead a tad safer is to immediately call out kung lao or sareena. Subzero also greatly benefits from slowing down the match once he gets a good life lead. Df4 is for free full screen chip too

i never played mortal combat but I always watch those videos to the end. Those fights are soooo intense that In smiling trough the whole video

Jev, I don’t play mortal kombat too much, I’m a big street fighter guy. But one thing I see you doing is that you get so kill hungry, you take unnecessary risks you don’t need to especially when you have the life lead. If your opponent is staying back and not approaching, let them, they’re only wasting their own time. Let them be the one to make mistakes and have to commit to a dangerous approach. There’s obviously a difference tho; if you’re pressuring someone heavy, continue that pressure if they can’t deal with it. But in certain circumstances in neutral you do something, like that ice hammer move when you have the life lead, and you leave yourself punishable. Just attack with safe moves or don’t do anything. I’m not a pro, but this stuff has made me get far in SF. Obviously SF and MK are very different games, but I feel this fact holds true for both of em. Love your videos

seeing jev rage in fighting games...the exact same way i do as a lifelong tekken player...Welcome to the fighting game community Jev, you want a mastery grind, well fighting games are perfect for that mindset. I really want to see more fighting games on your channel, sf6, tekken, guilty gear, do them all. I promise the content from it will also be worth it. who needs a healthy mental state.

The resilience Jev has to play Subzero knowing how low his damage is and how punishable his combos are is immesurable. If he plays his cards right, he can maybe do 30%. If he makes the slightest mistake, a character like Kitana just hits him with a quick combo and does 40%. Couldn't be me 💀

Hate to say it because im probably beating a dead horse, but you gotta tech grabs Jev. Most people just forward throw unless their back is to the corner, so just mash to tech forward throw and you'll tech like 70% of the time if you react fast enough
