Nagpur Junction - Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus Kolhapur Express is an express train of the Indian Railways connecting Nagpur Junction in Maharashtra and Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus of Maharashtra. It is currently being operated with 11403/11404 train numbers on a biweekly basis.
The 11403/Nagpur Junction - Kolhapur Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus Express has an average speed of 45 km/hr and covers 1038 km in 23 hrs. 11404/Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus Kolhapur - Nagpur Junction Express has an average speed of 44 km/hr and 1038 km in 23 hrs 45 mins.
Both trains are hauled by a Pune Loco Shed based WDM-3D/WDP-4D diesel locomotive from Nagpur to Kolhapur and vice versa.
11403 - Leaves Nagpur Jn. every Tuesday, Saturday at 3:00 PM IST and reach SCSMT Kolhapur on next day(Wednesday, Sunday) at 2:00 PM IST.
11404 - leaves SCSMT Kolhapur every Monday, Friday and reach Nagpur Jn. next Day (Tuesday, Saturday) at 12:35 PM IST.

Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (officially Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus) (station code: KOP) is the main railway terminus in the city of Kolhapur, India. It is the end point of the Miraj to Kolhapur railway line. It falls under Miraj subdivision of Pune division .It has a freight yard called Gur Market with a capacity of five freight trains nearly 4 km (2.5 miles) away from the station. Kolhapur is the centre of trade for southern Maharashtra with electrification between Miraj and Kolhapur. This station connects Kolhapur with major cities such as Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Dhanbad through express trains. Some important express trains are the Mahalaxmi Express (Kolhapur-Mumbai), Haripriya Express (Kolhapur-Tirupati), IRCTC also runs the tourist luxury train Deccan Odyssey at Kolhapur station. The Minister of Railways announced the Miraj-Kolhapur-Vaibhavwadi rail route and electrification of Kolhapur-Pune rail route in 2016-17. There are daily passenger shuttle services between Kolhapur, Miraj and Pune.
This railway station is named after Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj of Kolhapur.
Nagpur Junction (station code: NGP) is a railway station in Nagpur, in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is an important junction station on the Howrah-Mumbai and Delhi-Chennai trunk line of the Indian Railways. It belongs to A1 category stations and is one of the top 100 booking stations of Indian Railways. Nagpur railway station is one of the oldest and busiest stations in Maharashtra. Railways made a beginning in Nagpur in 1867, when a portion of the Bombay-Bhusaval-Nagpur line was opened for traffic.
Nagpur is divisional headquarter of two railway zones, Central Railway and South East Central Railway. Nagpur division has GT Route from Itarsi to Ballarshah and Mumbai-Howrah route from Gondia to Badnera. North-South and East-West traffic crisscrosses through the Division, making its Nagpur-Wardha section one of the busiest sections in Indian Railways. It has 3 branch lines connecting Amla-Chhindwara, Narkhed-Amravati & Majri-Pimpalkutti on Broad Gauge and one branch line Pulgaon-Arvi in Narrow Gauge . Shortest run by Indian Railways’ train is the scheduled services between Nagpur and Ajni stations situated just 3km from each other.
Around 254 Mail/Express and Passenger trains halt at the station, with approximately 160,000 passengers embarking and disembarking. 22 trains originate from and terminate at this station. Direct trains are available for most of the state capitals and major cities in india, including: Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kolkata.

What a headache route with 4 reversals (Miraj, Latur Road, Parli-Vaijnath, Akola). It would have taken less time, if routed through Pune-Daund-Manmad (just one reversal).

Very good video. The horshoe bends at Miraj and Kurudwadi were well captured. The full route is electrified but the diesel engine was used 🤔. Four reversals which must the most for a train running within a state.

It is another train which go through pune manmad route. It is maharashtra express. This train route is less time consuming than maharashtra express.
