Actually, Jay, Ayano is canonically good at acting. She spent her life acting “normal” since elementary until her middle school years so that she would fit in. She used to be bullied because of her expressionless face, after all. It was shown in her backstory.

1980s mode was very easy to do once he had the models. There's no voice lines for each rival, every task is the same, even for rivals, etc. He jus copy and pasted 10 times with some adjustments to each, plus the school was already made/backstories were done already. It is literally just visuals

​@@dustyrose192 To be fair, the only reason he made it was because he needed a way to test how the multi-week system would work in the final game, and implementing a more simplified version of the game with the intent of basically being a call-back to Yandere Sim when it first started off would've been the best way to do it.

I love how Kokona didn’t just become a background character that was forgotten, and that even tho she isn’t a rival or a test subject anymore, but she’s still going to be the reason Ayano gets the idea to kill, Kokona has no idea what she even caused, like Yandere Dev said in a video once

Interesting thing it's told through the perspective of a Yandere. So naturally, she thinks any girl who so much as talks to Senpai is romantically interested in him even though over 1/2 aren't. Or when Senpai chases them, she blames them for "pursuing" him The reality is, maybe only 2 of those rivals were pursuing Senpai romantically. The others weren't interested or maybe Senpai approached them for tips beyond romance. Say... the sports club person, he asked for help leading a better life. Or the bookworm, he needed help studying. Or the 2 popular people, he was chasing them when they saw him as just another admirer

The tutorial is really a 10/10, even though it took 9 years 💀 The animation, voice acting, concept, it's all great! I especially love the Amai cutscene, and the cutscenes for 1980's mode. The 1980's mode cutscenes remind me of those MMD yandere simulator videos.

I assume that the play that the Drama Club is acting is all about Ryoba Aishi. Why I think of that? Ryoba has that same power that she can sense people and objects, for short, Yandere Vision. If it's in story wise, the 89' event must've hit the school with a sharp decline in enrollments. It's also a disastrous event that killed six women.

While that is an interesting theory, I don’t know if a school would make a play about 6 (or more) unsolved Murders that occurred 34 years prior. Realistically the school would be criticized for insensitivity. However that’s just my opinion. It was a good thought though

I don't think the drama club would make a play about a school tragedy. It's like telling a US school to make a play about a school shooting their parents had experienced. That would be a really cool idea though if the 1980's murders played a role in the school in some way, like a memorial in one of the gardens.

Kokona is here and looking FABULOUS. I can't wait to see Oka again, and with a new goth look. Amai looks so cute in those colors. I have such HIGH HOPE for this game to be finished one day. I can't believe the ghost club leaders are back and still play a PART!

I like the fact that the role Yan-chan is playing, is actually her motive to keep people way from senpai. And is re-acting it as a play.

I can't believe it took so long to get a tutorial, but after watching a bunch of new people playing the game recently, I'm really glad it's here

I’m just happy Kokona is still in the game. I think YD said he’d use Kokona in a task regarding Kizana and the whole “wanting to be Kizana” thing so I hope she’s used for that too!

I absolutely love the cutscenes artstyle in 1989 mode, hope the finalised version would have such a good quality in game or better.

Wow I can’t believe it’s here!!! I remember Yandere Dev talking about having a tutorial in the game in one of his videos and even had a concept of Kokona being trapped in a time loop and in order to break the time loop, she has to eliminate Yandere Chan

Jay is undoubtedly the superior one. He's influenced me so much and I have watched him for 5 years. I am surprised that Jay has been able to work hard for 8 years. I never could have. You took me through a dark phase in my life. Thank you! Thank you!

Creative tutorial- took a bit of a long time to get one, but compliments for the creativity and worthwhileness... Though, it makes Kokona a bit more psychotic, in my opinion, with her few arguments being made through it, like stating how the 'killer' could have used the incinerator to resolve the 'killer's' issues. Also, never knew they added an apology to the witness? Great feature, seemingly very beneficial

apologizing to witnesses is one of the oldest features, it doesnt really affect you being discovered or not, its only about school reputation, and of course if they straight up see you killing someone it isnt an option but there are apology lines for being covered in blood (the one where she says its red paint), holding a weapon (the most well known one i think, she says 'i found something dangerous so i was bringing it to a teacher), being covered in blood AND holding a weapon (she says she was recording a prank) and being visibly insane (says she was joking around to try to lighten the mood iirc)

I like how Jay just has been carrying this game for a long time, and this episode was so funny, I like how he was just finding the easy ways to kill the rivals instead of actually doing the storyline and using mods 😂

Bro. The slow improvement of this game from when I first watched Jay’s yandere videos a couple years ago is astounding. Especially the 80s vers.

There’s actually a new cutscene if you get S+ meaning you will have to do everything as intended to all ten girls to get that cutscene where Ryoba talks about everyone knowing about her thing with Senpai. That’s I think the only thing you missed. Love your videos though!
