He had plans to unify the game by signing Chicano Rap artist as well as artist from other regions. Kokane said that Eazy E’s blueprint single handedly helped transform hip into a billion dollar business.

    As a life long Bone fan, I have no problem telling you that they're the biggest disappointment in Hip Hop history. Jerry Heller had to guys set to sell as a many records as Michael Jackson.. instead those dummies wanted to be Nelly... 🤣

    Fellow Bone fan here, I somewhat agree with you. I do think the success of Tha Crossroads changed their career for the worse. It was great for them at the time, it took them to a different stratosphere, but they lost their edge after that and chased those slow jam hit. If I could Teach, Change The World, Home w/Phill Collins, were all evidence for that. They are my fav group but it could've been much more impactful.

    There was a recent interview where Layzie said that was all the influence of the execs of Ruthless Records after Eazy died. They were hellbent on getting another Crossroads outta them, ie Teach the World, Change the Word, etc
