I really was enjoying Dimash until this song. After hearing the original vs Dimash's cover, I realized he is all technique but no soul. His songs just sound technical and hallow now to me. I still admire his skill but I realized I need artists like Tamaki to give a true soul to a song for me to really appreciate and want to revisit.

Great reaction! Yes, this is Koji Tamaki's original song and he wrote it. Dimash just covered it. He is just an amazing singer, singing with passion and gave us teary eyes. Thanks.

    こんにちは。『行かないで』(Do not go)とありますが、この歌は日本語で『逝かないで』(Do not die)と言う意味も含まれた歌です。魂の込められた心に響く素敵な唄ですよね。 感動してくれてありがとう😊

Please Don't Go Away Nothing visible, nothing I have been crying throughout Not because I feel sorrowful But because of the delight of feeling your warmth Ah… Please don't go away, please don't go away Please don't ever ever let us separate Ah… Please don't go away, please don't go away Let's remain this way Someday my heart, someday Will be somewhere afar That everything will turn into memory Though it's better not to know Though it's better not to know Ah… Please don't go away, please don't go away Whenever it is, don't let us separate Ah… Please don't go away, please don't go away Let's remain this way Ah… Please don't go away, please don't go away Please don't ever ever let us separate Ah… Please don't go away, please don't go away20 Let's remain this way

The music melody was made by TAMAKI Koji(玉置 浩二) in 1989. There are three kinds of lyrics like following, Japanese(written by 松井 五郎, title: "行かないで", sang by TAMAKI Koji), Cantonese(written by 周 禮茂, title: "李 香蘭", sang by Jacky Cheung(張 學友)), Chinese(written by 姚 若龍, title: "秋意浓", sang by Jacky Cheung(張 學友) and Dimash Kudaibergen(迪玛希)). These lyrics are not directly translated with each other but the meaning and ambiance seem to be close. The original Japanese one. kzread.info/dash/bejne/pYKbyqepYZvSp9I.html

    彼は出会った鉱石の欠片を見つめその美しさをそのまま歌いました。それさえ伝われば他はどうでもよかったように。曲としての構成もストーリーもすっとばして、ただこの欠片のこの瞬間の美しさを伝える為だけに。

👉 The original Japanese version by Koji Tamaki based on a sad true story... very touching… The song is about Yoshiko Yamaguchi, a Chinese-born Japanese actress during World War II. She hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li XIanglan and became famous in China. However, when the war was over and she revealed her identity, she was accused of being a spy. She was deported to Japan and longed for China. Ms. Yamaguchi did not return to China until many years as deputy environment minister in the Japanese parliament. The song is a metaphor as the lyrics speak of how a person should hide what they are feeling. 👉 Any vbloggers really reacted to the original Japanese version by Koji Tamaki, Japanese songwriter (he wrote many wonderful melodies)- they are mesmerized and can't stop listening to him. 👉 Dimash sings this song with other lyrics in Mandarin which was later very changed. This version is very well known and popular in China and is about autumn, feelings, farewells, sadness, longing. That is Dimash’s first song in Mandarin (He learned it in one week). 👉 This song brought Dimash the 'Best Foreign Singer' award at the Golden Melody Award 2017(equivalent to the Grammy) in Hong Kong. 👉 You should watch another fantastic version by Dimash in Kiev 11.03.2020, the last concert before Corona paralyzed everything kzread.info/dash/bejne/Zmdrq6esdKzAlqg.html ...grandios and very touching. 🌼🇩🇪
