Was looking at these the other day! Looks like a much more viable alternative to Common Projects. Curious how do you decide between sneakers and loafers, do you reserve the latter for dressier occasions only?

Good question. Usually it has to do with what I'm doing. If I'm going to dinner and shopping with Mrs. RMS, loafers for sure. If I'm just headed down the street to pick up dinner for the family, sneakers. I try to keep my loafers (especially the suede ones) in good shape, but I view the sneakers, especially white sneakers, as a shoe with a shelf life. Once they are so dingey and can't be cleaned up properly, they get donated.

I own these and rarely wear them. A little too dressy for most outfits. They look good on a date, but I mostly wear my kswiss or vans lowland if I'm dressing more casual

Those are very nice Patrick. They remind me of my Thursday minimal sneakers. I think though I prefer minimal sneakers with a gum sole but it is always good to have a pair like this in the rotation.

Thanks, Erik! I've actually heard a lot of people mention the gum soles lately. I have a pair of Greats white with gum soles. I need to get them cleaned up! I usually like to wear the all-whites when I have on some type of blue or dark brown chino. I picked up the gum soles when I saw the 20% off. They're supposed to show up tomorrow. I hope sizing down for half sizes works as they suggested.

I sized down a full size. They're a little too short, but next size up was too wide. I wear them with no show socks. Never without socks.

Looks good. Just grabbed some similar shoes from thursday. Hard to find nice looking shoes in wide (at times x wide)

I've got a pair of Thursdays in black and like them, but the sizing is weird! Had to go to 11.5 to get them to fit right...but they do fit pretty good!

Ordering shoes online is a PIA size wise. For example, according to Koio’s sizing chart, since my foot is 11.1” long I should wear their size 10. But I wear a size 12 Asics, 11.5 Onitsuka Tiger, 11 Allen Edmonds, size 12 Salomon, etc. Reviewers only state their normal size, but not actual foot length. So that’s not helpful. Anyway, thanks for the review! I’ve got a pair incoming.

Bought my pair. My foot measures 11.1 inches heel to toe. Koio’s size chart recommends size 10 US. I bought sizes 10s and 11s because I couldn’t get my head around a size 10 fitting since I’m no less than an 11 in any brand shoe. Size 10 was a perfect fit. Bottom line: Measure your foot and go with the chart. Thnaks for the video!

Not for me, but these look solid. Better than most I've seen. The extra money spent appears to be worth it.

Nice looking sneakers! I love to see it, and I'm curious how the Koio soles will hold up over time compared to name brand like Margom or Vibram. Speaking of, how are your Coast sneakers holding up?

Coast Sneakers are doing great! Thanks for asking, Sub! I haven't worn them much over the winter, but I have conditioned them once (Ventian) and they are looking good. Will start wearing them again soon-ish and I'm planning a full update video on them in the summertime.

Do you have the insole measurements for the 10? I wear 10 normally and went with a 9 on capris, they feel half a size too small and I was thinking to get a 10. thanks!

Just measured. The insole is 11.25" long from the edge of the heel to the end of the toe.
