Excellent video, I love your smooth shots and your camera is great at night. A balanced view of Koh Lipe. Last time I was there was March 2011, right after I met Mon. We stayed on sunrise beach and it was without doubt the most stunning beach. Too bad its still so windy on that side.

@@Chai_Travel what I can see, can be hard for me to see where you are at some parts…..but yes it changed a lot, so much more resorts etc! But the biggest difference I saw was that it is so much more green, because all the plants/trees grow so much! I stayed at daya resort and woke up realising I was sleeping on a cematary, including headstones 🪦 in front of the door 🤯☺️ and stayed at Sita resort (next door from daya) and at the same time there was a princess from the Thai royal family so there was extreme security at the resort (including big marine ships in front of the coast, marine officers everywhere and our luggage went true a X-ray machine) but she was the nicest princess ❤️ because me and her shared the same love for animals

@@Chai_Travel have you been to koh kood (kut, but in Dutch that means something else) when I was there, there where maybe 8 resorts that you could only reach by water because there were no roads, not even a small road where you could walk over……..only jungle with rubber trees. I love Thailand! ❤️can’t wait to go back someday
I always love how the buildings and huts are formed into the hillsides next to the beaches. That seafood looked incredible!

The best thing about this island is that i can drink multiple beers, eat plenty and still loose weight with all the walking from beach to beach + snorkeling all in the heat as there is no scooter hire on the island, i was there during Thai new year in April last year 22, during those 3 days nearly every hotel was booked out on the island

Hi!Champ. Koh Lipe had the best shallow snorkeling 🤿. .Have u been to the group of island Koh Surin &Similan . It's the most beautiful in Thailand why l said liked that coz it had a period to travel about 6months and Koh Similan didn't allow to stayed just one day trip. And KohSurin&Similan was list1-10 of the best scuba diving in the world 🌍.Have a nice day.Take care& stay safe.Champ.

Great video! I’m going to Langkawi but not sure if we should continue to koh lipe bc we are on a budget + fam of 5. The return ferry alone will cost us $550 Cad frm Langkawi 😅 but Thailand is pretty special so I’m tempted to go! Did u like Langkawi or Koh lipe better? Will go watch your Langkawi video now 😉

Awesome I did the same trip from Koh Lanta to Koh Lipe but stopping at Koh Muk, Koh Kradan and Koh Ngai for quick visits before reaching Koh Lipe which I stayed 3 nights at Bundhaya Resort. However, I did visit Koh Lipe as a day trip from Langkawi in Malaysia in the previous year though

I was in Ko Lipe back in 1999, it was way better back then. Now it looks like any other island in Thailand.

I've been there 3times 2005 2008 2010.It was a secret heaven.beautiful nature and locals. It was adventurous. No motorbike, no cement street, no trash. But it became super touristic.It developed rapidly every year. It will still be the one of the most beautiful beach in Thailand but I will chose another island easier to access now. coz it is pretty much same now but expensive. not worthy.

It depends where you are on the island. Over all Koh Lipe is more expensive. (You pay roughly 30% more I’d say ☺️ I hope it helps

Thailand is too crowed, not my cup of tea anymore. You should give a try in Malaysia which is not so touristic and has amazing white sand beaches too

@@Chai_Travel But Malaysian beaches are not so crowed by foreigners compared the ones in Thailand. Although one is a conservative Muslim country and the other an extremely Nationalist Buddhist one. Anyway I didnt know you have already explored Malaysia, my mistake. Keep on your amazing work!
