Today, we had some friends stop by to hangout and have some dinner by the river. You have to take the small ferry boat across to Koh Kret Island and then hop on some motorcycle taxi's for a scenic ride through the village by the river. Koh Kret is an island located about an 45- 60 min from downtown Bangkok. There is a Thai restaurant called Ronsi Studio. We have eaten here many times and the food is delicious. They have live band and wonderful staff. Ronsi Studio is refurbished from an old river saw mill back in the day. Now, it's a relaxing environment with rooms for the night and a coffee/bakery shop. After dinner we headed back on a long tail boat ride back to the dock. Koh Kret Island is a hidden gem that many people "tourists" don't know about.
