It's not a solo persay. As someone rightly pointed out, it's an ululation to emphasize the meaning in that particular point of the music.

Great vocal blend. The tone of the choir is also giving. KSU didn't disappoint as usual. Not a fan of the song at all. I wish they gave us something different, in traditional KSU style. The only thing I like about the song, is when the Sopranos sing their solo abi ensemble. Also, If I was receiving communion and I heard what the male 'soloist' 'sang', I'd be distracted. Other than that, this is a great performance.
