Don't feel too bad about missing the Tapu Bulu. Erika had the type disadvantage. A Kartana was the least you could get to try and give her team a chance.

Held that monster Weezing back for last and pretended Kartana had a chance, lol.

Can u guys do this whith all 1-8 generations an then take the winner from each for the ultimate final tournament to see who the real champion is🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

there is no point, most of the gym leaders share pokemon type with gen 1, so it would be the same video over and over again (like, f.e almost every generation has grass/water/electric/rock gym leader)

I don’t know the outcome of the video but I do have a suggestion. I think it’d be great to have a rule in these specific matches where the type advantage is overwhelming where you can’t use the same move twice in a row . That would open up a lot of possibilities in my opinion.

Swap your least favorite starter choice with quickgg 2. Catch a random encounter and you have to take it…. You can fully evolve it 3. Choose another random starter 4. Catch an overworld pokemon with the same type as that pokemon 5. Swap it with your mascot pokemon 6. You guys should have one person use 3 bug and 3 water, the other person uses 3 grass 3 fire. That way half your team always resists/is supereffective against half of the other persons team

Versus Idea: First 10 baby Pokémon you see. You have 4 skips. Once you have your team of 6 babies you do a wheel of evolution. Whatever stage it lands on you apply to that baby, then you fight. *Not sure if this has been done before. I’m new on the channel.

Challenge Idea: BINGO! Each player makes their own BINGO card, where each of the columns is a different category. The player can choose whatever they want for the cells in each column as long as they fit the category without duplicate entries, and they can arrange the category columns in whichever order they choose. Categories: 1. Dual Type (ex. Poison/Fighting) 2. Single Type (ex. Grass) 3. Egg Group (ex. Dragon) 4. Generation (ex. Gen 3) 5. Highest Base Stat (ex. Speed) Look through the overworld to fill out your BINGO card. After you get 5 in a row, BINGO! That's 5 members of your team. The final teammate can be any pokemon that has already been caught on the card that isn't in the BINGO. *If a player has less than 10 slots filled on the card before making a BINGO, then they are allowed to fill more slots to bring the total to 10, so there's options for the last member. Only the first BINGO counts. ** "no eggs discovered" and "gender unknown" cannot be used as egg groups *** if a match is seen, then it must be caught **** max of 1 legendary per card ***** can catch babies, but fully evolve for the battle.

Video idea: You both go and catch 6 pokemon. Then all 12 get put into a pool, and you take turns picking which ones you want on your team. I would be really curious what stratagies you use and pokemon end up getting caught for something like this since you aren't guaranteed to keep what you catch.

It might make it harder if love to see this challenge again, but the gym have their type only and maybe for their ace being a dual type. I know for certain gym leaders it wouldn’t fully work. But say surge has all electric type expect is last is electric dark

I don't blame Chillin for missing that Tapu Bulu in his defence that thing could easily be mistaken for a fighting type I always thought it was a fighting type till I caught one on Pokemon Go so it not registering makes perfect sense

I'm enjoying this new vs battles you guys have going. I would love to see where you choose your types before the battle. Single type and then the first you find of each type that is fully evolved you take. (Including Legends for this) Each type you can do a single skip. So how this works is you each pick your team. So say I choose; Dragon, Fairy, Normal, Poison, Fire, and Steel. Then I go in order so the first fully evolved Dragon type. You can not choose the same single type for your team of six however. Each one has to be different but that doesn't mean your final team can't have multiple at the end.

Sun vs Moon team? Sun: solgaleo, espeon, solrock, sunflora, Volcarona, lycanroc Day Moon: Lunala, umbreon, lunatone, Clefable, celesteela, lycanroc night. You can decide the move sets? Or randomize the move set and and abilities

If you guys do this series again for other regions it might be fun to let the gym leaders keep one non legendary Pokémon from the previous round to spice it up.

Hoping for a Gen 2 version of this- I've really liked these challenges. :)

Id say you should introduce a clause in these uneven matchups to either exclude mons that are 4-times weak to the other type or mons that 4-times resist them, or both really (if one wants to, of course), I know that the randomized moveset does negate these effects somewhat, but that would give some interesting battles at least

New challenge idea : 7 pokemon that represent Sins (Gluttony, Greed etc.) vs 7 pokemon that represent Virtue (Justice, Patience etc.)

Challenge idea: day 6 of asking you can catch anything you want, overworld or random encounters, but only Pokémon you find on routes, not in the wild area, and once you leave a route, you can’t go back

Challenge idea!! Evolution Challenge catch 9 pokemon 3 first stage, 3 second stage, and 3 final stage Evos. Final team must have 2 of each stage and Duke it out

Video idea. Only illegal moves, no duplicate moves* across the team

If they do these with later Gen trainers, in events where one trainer has a distinct disadvantage, to counteract that a little bit you could let the weaker trainer catch an extra one or two Pokemon more than the other just so they have a slightly better chance of getting a team that stands a better chance. 🤷🏻‍♂️

video idea. blindfolded. You travel to an area and close your eyes. then you travel around till you hit something. The other person gives you directions but you decide if you go that way. So Chilln could tell quickgg to turn to the left. Quickgg could say you are trying to lead me to a bad pokemon and no go to the left.

Feels like this series was made pretty one sided depending on the primary weakness challenge. Seems odd for the 3rd time in this tournament.

Each of them (aside from Fini) drops the proper terrain for their typings naturally (Bulu - Grass, Koko - Electric, Lele - Psychic...Fini is stuck with Misty)...that's how I always figured their non-Fairy types.
