I had much respect for this man: Apostle, after I watched his presentation on music. In fact that presentation is so deep and more than a doctorate presentation. Those with academic eyes would see that the man deserve an academic doctorate award. I salute you Apostle and hope you will do more to correct the many and funny indoctrination our people find themselves in.

Everyone will forever be a student of the Bible. If we do proper exposition of this topic you will know the apostle is not entirely right! The biblical Israel's leadership was theocracy even before they appointed for themselves kings. The musicians were called for one purpose, that is, religious or worship of Yahweh, period. Nothing more! The biblical Israel was not a secular nation, though, rebellious! Just the same way the scriptural divisions is accepted into various books and testaments by men, which the apostle makes reference to, the same way, he should accepts the categorization of songs. Music serves one major purpose, that is, worship of Yahweh! People may compose songs for various purposes, but that does not makes it fulfil its Yahweh's ordain purpose. Let's allow the scripture speak for itself and not from the mere opinions of servants of Yahweh. Ability to memorize scruptures does not mean you have full understanding. If you are interested in this subject, I will be glad to explore with you. Just forward your questions. Thanks.

The fact is, one who composes and sings gospel songs is a gospel musician or singer. Will the Lord God be only interested in the lyrical content of the song without the singers right standing with Him? One cannot drink at the table of demons and drink at the table God. Let's draw that line! The Lord is not only interested in our talents or gifts but most importantly our hearts. For where your treasures that is why your heart will be. Yahweh-Shalom!
