@swati saini Kareena was asked about Priyanka on KWK (don’t exactly remember what) to which she replied that Priyanka has such a fake accent. Where does she get it from? To this Priyanka replied later that she gets her accent from the same place where Kareena’s boyfriend gets it from. I don’t remember whether she was talking about Shahid or Saif. And there were few other instances when they said few things about each other. Also they have never been on cordial terms with each other since Aitraaz.

Kapoor family is known for nicknames. Randhir Kapoor (Raj Kapoor's eldest son) = Dabboo Rishi Kapoor = Chintu Rajiv Kapoor = Chimpu Randhir's daughters Karishma and Kareena are called Lolo and Bebo. Rishi Kapoor's kids (Ranbir and Ridhima) don't have nicknames...because Rishi's wife didn't like having such nicknames.

Actually they were good friends and they would go on vacation together. They only became rivals after Priyanka started to become a competition to Kareena as they were pitted together. There are other events where they are hugging each other at award functions.

That’s when Kareena tried to get back at her but she was no match for PCs clever manipulative victim PR skills n she got labeled as jealous with the help of the media who were all eating outta PCs hands...... It was even mentioned in this episode n the reason hinted at which PC first accepted then quickly denied......Kareena’s always been complimentary to PC but not the other way around. They’re very different people but they can be friendly n appreciate each other!s differences now but I don’t think they can be friends.

Rick's "oh ho ho" after Kareena said she made all her costars look good had me in stitches. Dudes, Bebo flexed her thespian muscles in Talaash and Omkara, in case you'd forgotten, and went against type in Udta Punjab and Angrezi Medium. Her performance in Jab We Met is still considered one of the absolute best in Hindi romcoms. Watch Chameli, Kurbaan and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu for more good stuff from her. The first two are dramatic roles, the third rather lighthearted. Dev and Yuva are worth mentioning too. Her performance in Heroine won a lot of praises, but I personally think the film isn't very good. Kareena's reputation as a glamour icon and (occassionally meme-starting) commercial star so thoroughly eclipses her talent as an actor that whenever she does something remotely offbeat or gets involved in project which gets critical acclaim, a lot of people are momentarily stunned. Case in point: People were surprised that she agreed to act in Udta Punjab, because it meant playing fourth fiddle to her ex-boyfriend (Shahid), a much younger actress (Alia), and an actor who was was debuting in the Hindi-language movie industry (Diljit- all the movies he'd done before Udta Punjab were in Punjabi). It happened again (on a smaller scale) with Angrezi Medium. She very talented, but she's generally less daring with her roles than Priyanka is.

True but i don't think they'll get it because she plays a street prostitute from Mumbai and the lingo and mannerisms of how she played that character are very specific and restricted to that particular area and culture. Kareena's performance was bang on but its sad as foreigners won't understand the intricacy and details of that performance.

Bwahahaha, these two were VERY snippy to each other in their early days. Actually, Kareena was notoriously arrogant in her youth and was snippy to most of her peers- she's matured so much now, and humbled herself (well, somewhat). It's my wish to one day see Rick and Korbin fanboy over Bebo the way they do over Priyanka. Well, one can't deny PC's been more consistently saavy about the type of roles which would fetch her critical acclaim. Kareena didn't really care either way until she approached her mid-thirties. My favourite performances from her (that you haven't yet seen) are in Dev, Kurbaan and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. Shahid (who's worked with both of them) really said it best- Kareena's more (naturally) talented, but Priyanka works harder. They've only worked together once- in Aitraaz (which was one of Priyanka's first movies). I wouldn't recommend it.

They also worked in Don (Kareena had a couple scenes with PC) & did one KBC episode with Shahrukh but that was years a go. Their relationship went from being extremely warm to each other to being arch rivals of each other and now finally to being two mature successful girls admiring each other. In recent years, Priyanka also did an episode of DID with Bebo, where the later was one of the judges and PC went with Farhan to promote her film. What Shahid said is completely right, Bebo's acting is more natural and impactful, the way she does comedy and emotional scenes is untouchable (JWM, Kurbaan, Heroine, 3 Idiots & Golmaal 3), however, PC is more versatile and brave when it comes to her choice of films (7 KM, Barfi, Mary Kom). Regardless of their acting pattern, both the leading ladies have had great innings in Bollywood, spanning over 20 years and are still going strong. This is a rare feat that actresses enjoy in male dominated industry in decades. Both have paved the way for younger actresses and in fact there was a time when Bollywood didn't have any powerful leading ladies but these two (2007 - 2011), as former strong leading ladies like Aishwariya, Rani & Priety were fading away from the scene and new sensations like Deepika & Katrina were juvenile in their performances. There was Vidya, but she wasn't very popular until The Dirty Picture and was considered an off beat actress till that time. Kareena & Priyanka deserve immense respect for staying firmly on their feet during those tough times for the actresses. As an ardent fan, I'd love to see them together in a film, essaying some great parts, maybe something along the lines of Mullholand Drive, Chicago, American Hustle or a Thunder Force. Also, it'd have been great if it was Kareena instead of Alia in the upcoming film Jee Le Zara along with Priyanka & Katrina. Alia seemed a lil out of place.

@@swatisaini6447 Yes, she only wanted what Kareena had but maybe not a genuine interest but had to wait until after the breakup, maybe that’s why she and Shahid had so much animosity between them after they were exposed......She used to stalk Kareena on sets too, trying to hog limelight and make Kareena too upset and distracted to work....She did a lot of underhanded, psycho things to Kareena who got scared of her at one point.

Yeh Fashion was when I started taking note of priyanka. before that she did alot of rom coms/masala /femme fatale/temptress type roles... 7 khoon maaf and Mary Kom also stood out

Kareena decided to dress up as the Scarlett witch and Priyanka as the mask.

Oh my gosh all of the Kareena STANS blasting these two for not taking a liking to her, need to chill. People can have differing opinions. Kareena is not a bad actor, but she’s not the greatest. If I want to watch a high quality Bollywood Shakespearean heroine performance, I’ll watch Tabu. And Kareena’s “diva attitude” is not cute, it’s unprofessional, distasteful, and arrogant. “ I make other actresses look good” is an overcompensation for insecurity as a means to undermine KK’s contemporaries. She may be a glamour icon, but there are several actresses far more exceptional than her.

For a fantastic Priyanka-Kareena film, watch Aitraaz. Priyanka nailed the villain role. And the scenes where Kareena cross-examined PC was brilliant.

I agree with Rick here.. Im not a fan of those celebs or any insta users whose pages are like glam up pictures or to show so perfect all the time (like he said publicity stuff) so i follow Priyanka because she is real, we can relate to her cuz she posted pictures which is soemtimes selfie, candid, or even family or friends pics and not all the time perfect angle and her captions are always interesting even if its long or short.. I think even Kareena is also the same

That's because they like actors who do meatier roles like Nawaz, Irfan etc While they do enjoy commercial fun acting but that won't get them hooked on to that actor. And Kareena to be honest haven't done any character roles like priyanka in barfi or alia in raazi/gully gang etc. Kareena needs to start doing movies which can showcase her acting instead of being a just love interest to someone.

@@rajeshpatil08 Kareena did Chameli ,Yuva,Dev like movies when people were doing "Bollywood Masala" but people like to just see her present not the past.While Priyanka past was not good but in present she is getting good roles. It doesn't make the fact that both actresses have same potential Kareena showed that in the past and Priyanka is showing it now.

And even in present her role in Heroine went underrated her role in udta punjab went under rated and even now when she will be in Laal Singh Chaddha can't say how much screen time she will get. But waiting for her to get some roles where she can show her acting chops to new generation. Takht I think will be one of that project only if Alia doesn't get all the creen time 😂

Just because she had did masala films that doesn't mean she is not good actress...if we liked those films that means she did a good job..she is not my absolute favourite but I won't deny in childhood I liked her role as poo and fall in love with Geet , Chameli was amazing , udta Punjab she was underrated ...and ofcourse Nawazuddin Siddiqui is just definition of cinema... amazing and awesome just are words....I love him but Kareena is great too..she also deserves appreciation.. sending love to all of you... don't offend it's just my opinion ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😊

@@kalpnathakur9212 True that.Everybody has done masala movie and we are crazy about it but now just because Period drama and real life depiction is in trend doesn't mean other movie actors are not good. Wether it's Kareena or Priyanka both have proved themself,so people should stop targeting Kareena. She herself said it I have proved myself now I do movie for what it is not how much of a role I have.

I liked the character development of Kareena in bollywood over the time. from a plastic drama queen to a sensible person. And still flaunting her beauty as a mother. Kareena at her finale of her major career time was quite different person than her debutant personality. but yes,one thing still unchanged for good. Whenever she appears, totally bindass.

Only if you call bedroom hookups with Priyanka as dating. They were found out only because of the early morning income tax raid on her that found Shahid in boxers trying to escape, lol. And soon after that, the animosity started and he said that she was a psycho and needed to stay far the heck away from him, lol......She only wanted him because Kareena had him for 5 yrs.

Actually the episode with PeeCee and deepika is an even better one!

Aitraaz is the movie where Priyanka, Kareena and Akshay worked together... PC played negative role n she nailed it... her debut or second movie I believe.
