KOF'99 (alt) [Arcade] - Real Kyo & Iori (with both endings)

Ойындар

This is a playthrough using Real Kyo Kusanagi and Iori Yagami in the Arcade version of King of Fighters '99. Read on below for more information...
Real Kyo & Iori are both hidden playable characters in this version of the game. They are also hidden CPU opponents whom you can fight against (either of them, not both) if you play as one of the full teams and meet a certain amount of Battle Score points after you defeat 2nd form Krizalid at the end.
===== HOW TO UNLOCK REAL KYO & IORI =====
This code is for the Arcade version of the game. Are you ready for this? Here goes...
1) On the character select screen, highlight and select the Roulette [?] box so that it automatically picks your characters. Depending who you want to unlock, you need at least 3 of the following characters in the Roulette selection:
For Kyo: Benimaru, K', Kyo-1, Kyo-2, Maxima, Shingo, Whip
For Iori: Athena, Bao, Jhun, Kasumi, Kim, Leona, Xiangfei
2) Once the above is achieved, proceed to beat the opposition with your team. The opposition can be the CPU or Player 2 - but if you want to do this in a 2-Player match you need to have the second player involved/joined on the character select screen BEFORE your Roulette team is chosen.
3) After you beat the opposition, on the Winning screen, the code/input command for either Real Kyo or Iori will be displayed/blinking at the top.
4) From here you can just lose the game. You don't need to beat the game.
5) On the character select screen, highlight the Roulette [?] box, hold START and input the following:
For Kyo: Press Left, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right
For Iori: Press Right, Left, Up, Right, Down, Left
If you have done it right, Real Kyo will appear and replace the sun icon; or Iori will appear and replace the crescent moon icon. Both can be unlocked (one after the other) providing that you fulfill the early requirements for both. The character(s) you unlocked is now selectable.
===== VIDEO MOMENTS =====
This video shows the unique dialogues (after beating 1st form Krizalid) and endings for both Real Kyo and Iori. The timestamps for them are as follows:
19:26 - Real Kyo's dialogue after beating 1st form Krizalid
20:41 - Real Kyo's ending/credits
23:25 - Iori's dialogue after beating 1st form Krizalid
24:42 - Iori's ending/credits
===== ABOUT REAL KYO =====
As the name suggests, this is the real Kyo Kusanagi in which all the Kyo clones are made from. In KOF99, he has a completely new design which features him in casual attire rather than the Gakuran outfit. This is of course done to distinguish him from the Kyo clones in the game... as well as having a canon "excuse" to include more versions of him for future KOF games.
===== ABOUT IORI =====
Since his debut in KOF95, this guy has become a household name in the KOF series... he's basically the "Ken" of KOF these days, and has achieved the "KOF-would-not-be-the-same-without-him" status. A character who usually always has good BGM themes too. *cough*kof97ASTcooljam*cough*

    Never understood why the staples of KOF would be hidden in the first place.

    It was basically for lore reasons at the time after the events of '97 with the Sacred Treasures Team's ending.

    The tekken 3 release in 1997 was really popular, so other devs thought that shaking up the cast could led to better sales, so garou, street fighter 3 new generation, king of fighters 99, toshiden 4...
