#Cattle Egret, Bubulcus ibis - Reigers (Ardeidae)
Dit zijn twee koereigers, deze twee prachtige vogels kwamen we
per toeval tegen op ons rondje fietsen door de Onlanden.
De koereiger is de zeldzamere reiger soort van Nederland.
Deze reiger is niet echt afhankelijk van het water, ze leven vooral in weilanden met koeien ,paarden of schapen.
Als deze door het weiland lopen, komen de insecten vrij, en daar maken deze reigers gebruik van.
Sprinkhanen en kevers en wormen zijn dan makkelijke prooien, zo komt de koereiger dan aan zijn voedsel.
Ook kikkers en visjes en muizen staan op het menu.
Je kunt duidelijk zien dat deze vogels in hun winterkleed zijn vastgelegd, zomerkleed van deze reiger is ook prachtig, met hun geel Orange kuif en borst.
Als je deze reiger ziet in Nederland, mag je best wel blij zijn, van wat je ziet.
Eerst waren ze ver weg, maar toen alle mensen, die aan het kijken waren, weg waren, vlogen ze ineens op en gingen heel dichtbij ons zitten, op een hek, het was echt geweldig om te zien.
Lekker poetsen en rekken en strekken, we hebben ervan genoten.
Weer een prachtig moment van ons leven, die ik met jullie wil delen.

These are two cattle egrets, these two beautiful birds we came across
by chance on our cycling tour through the Onlanden.
The cattle egret is the rarer heron species in the Netherlands.
This heron is not really dependent on the water, they mainly live in meadows with cows, horses or sheep.
When they walk through the meadow, the insects are released, and these herons take advantage of that.
Grasshoppers, beetles and worms are easy prey, which is how the cattle egret gets its food.
Frogs, fish and mice are also on the menu.
You can clearly see that these birds are captured in their winter plumage, this heron's summer plumage is also beautiful, with their yellow Orange crest and breast.
If you see this heron in the Netherlands, you can be quite happy with what you see.
At first they were far away, but when all the people who were watching were gone, they suddenly flew up and sat very close to us, on a fence, it was really wonderful to see.
Nice cleaning and stretching, we enjoyed it.

Czapla bydlęca, Bubulcus ibis - Czaple (Ardeidae)
To dwie czaple bydlęce, te dwa piękne ptaki, które spotkaliśmy
przez przypadek podczas naszej wycieczki rowerowej po Onlanden.
Czapla bydlęca jest rzadszym gatunkiem czapli w Holandii.
Czapla ta nie jest tak naprawdę zależna od wody, żyje głównie na łąkach z krowami, końmi i owcami.
Kiedy idą przez łąkę, wypuszczane są owady, a czaple to wykorzystują.
Koniki polne, chrząszcze i robaki są łatwym łupem, w ten sposób czapla bydlęca zdobywa pożywienie.
W menu są także żaby, ryby i myszy.
Wyraźnie widać, że te ptaki są uchwycone w zimowym upierzeniu. Letnie upierzenie tej czapli jest również piękne, z jej żółtym pomarańczowym grzebieniem i piersią.
Jeśli zobaczysz tę czaplę w Holandii, możesz być całkiem zadowolony z tego, co widzisz.
Na początku byli daleko, ale kiedy zniknęli wszyscy obserwujący, nagle przylecieli i usiedli bardzo blisko nas, na płocie. To było naprawdę niesamowite.
Ładne sprzątanie i rozciąganie, podobało nam się.
