Zen is definitely Locked In when she competes. And damn she can pop off when you least expect it. You two were fun to watch.

Game 1: seeing Koe's confirms into combos versus Zen's punishes of overextensions~~~ Game 2: Koe aggresses through Zen's defensive playstyle of punishing overextensions with good frame data. Game 3: Zen turns on the aggression and brings it to game 5. Ironically her aggressions gave Koe enough openings for him to whiff punish into his good confirms~~~ Game 4: Zen combines her aggressive lows with her whiff punishes and delivers a quick 2-nil lead including a whiff punish leading into a rage art, which Koe calls out tying up the rounds 2-2. Zen's aggressive but passive playstyle wins out, her taking this as her first round won. Game 5: More a return to form with Koe's aggressive and on point combo game versus Zen's excellent whiff punish game, though Zen introduces some mid-range moves, and Koe almost loses round 4 by dropping a combo. He still clutches out. Game 6: Zen takes early leads all 3 rounds, but Koe's experience and calm shines through with him reversing all 3 into his victories to see the first tl 5.

I love that this whole thing is a tournament but I wish up up down down got into this tournament, it would be sick to see how they would do against koe and others but again they are WWE superstars

You play and learn. Last time I checked, the median skill level is around low red ranks, which is where Zen is in right now.

If ur talking abour Zen's level then just being familar on how your character works and the basics of the game then Red Ranks is easily reachable. If ur talking about Koe's then its about learning the matchups, frame data and being able to punish properly as well as maximizing your character's combo damage and knowing how to play optimally with them

Find the buttons that 1) You can spam in neutral without fear of being punished. 2) You can use to launch the opponent into a combo. 3) You can use to hit them low. 4)You can use to whiff punish(this is the hard part, different attacks require different punishes). Then jump online to get your ass beat. No seriously, you need data to practice 4) so you need matches to watches and learn. Keep doing that over and over again.
