All roads lead to Rome… There are several ways through which one can reach the Princess of Hillstations, Kodaikanal. We have already explored the way to Kodaikanal through Batlagundu, Adukkam and Pazhani. Now we have ventured to reach the Princess through Pandrimalai, Thankidkudi, Pannaikaadu and Perumalmalai. This route is very scenic and adventurous as the roads cross through dense forest. There are few habitations around but they have not yet been manipulated to the so called modern culture. We can find coffee plantations and vegetations around there. Balamurugan temple is one of the ancient temples which you can witness at Thandikukdi. Dolman houses are also present there which reveal the ancient civilisation present over there 3500 years ago. Pannaikadu is a farm village and after which this road reaches perumalmali and then we witness the Silver Cascade.
The experience was really awesome and you are advised to go after June adn till Jan. Though there were not much limitations in the month of March, if one wants to enjoy the richness of nature along with greeneries and mist it is better to go During June toJanvuary.
