Beautiful island of black and white cob and pen Mmm... Where are my dear cygnets

Beautiful! I've never seen a black swan before. Well, I have but only in still images, perhaps, not swimming around in a pond or lake.

3guys from the firebrigade catched one black swan. I was wondering what happend there so I went down a flor. It was a pretty young swan. Very likely that it was his first flight, and his first landing too! :-) He was a bit dizzy. So I took him away kept him under my arm and we (Farmer and me)drove him to the lake(3 minutes by car) The whole time I gave - (here is my language barrier, what's the word?It's a mix of scritching, taming, hugging) - him a good time.He sat on my leg and I just holded him tide enough,that he would not get the idea of wingslapping the driver;-) He "told" us that it was his home so we stopped and I lifted him out.This all was so smooth. A known dog would've been more nervous. A shame that I didn't see him anymore (it was a large locked quarry pond)

LOL/Territorial white swans! I hope the black swan's eggs didn't die. The swans (white) are very aggressive!

They are mean to any type of stranger, or anything that is near their nests. They are especially territorial when breeding, and / or if they have young
