I have the Clara BW and the older Clara HD. The BW screen, no question is a quality improvement. The screen is faster. The blacks are blacker. Both may be rated at 300 PPI but it is sharper. On the minor side the power button was improved. Just give it a short press to turn it on. Over all not a massive change but well worth it!

I really like the home screen interface, and how it’s not intrusive with the store like Amazon are. It’s definitely impressive how Kobo are leading the big three with colour and Carta 1300. But unfortunately, we’ve seen many times that the first ones to do something often don’t benefit from it like you’d think they should. And it will probably be the case again this time.
