we lost a great one. he was a great family man too. i admire him for that. John salley famously tells the story when he worked for a few days to get Kobe to come out to a club in miami. Kobe never went out. he finally does go out with sallery and the women immediately flock to Kobe. 5 minutes later he said he was going back to the hotel to get some sleep because he had to train in the morning.

I dont have kids yet at age of 34 but can understand him a bit since always had a feeling i wanna have a baby girl.. Dont know why.. And then this is so sad because you start to realize.. Kobe will never again see his girls, never again will have a chance to see them grow.. Oh man.. And he was just getting started.. My Gosh, such a tragedy.. Life is so unfair. So so so sad.

It will 2 years in January. In Los Angeles people still mourn Kobe. Whenever I rock my Kobe gear I get a finger point with a nod, chest pound with tears, or they point out their own Kobe gear and they get a point with nod back. Los Angeles favorite son. No one represented Los Angeles better. Glitz and glamour of Hollywood but mamba mentality was the definition of the hard working blue collar side that makes up most of Los Angeles. Diana Taurasi reacted the way all of us Angelenos should and did. Childhood hero, adult role model, Los Angeles icon. Mamba Forever.

He loved basketball. And he was so loved and gifted (multi-talented). And most importantly he loved his wife and children. It is a tragic loss. My prayers go out to his family and the families of all those who were on that helicopter.

Isah Muhammad i feel your pain. My heart is broken. I have been grieving, and also can’t accept Kobe and Gianna is gone either. But this is a process, actually I’m happy there are so many videos out there. It shows how Kobe trancended basketball, and impact normal peoples every day life like you and me. So much love and appreciation is shown for them. We will never forget what greatness Kobe was, and what his daughter could have been... and was already on her way to become.

Live your life bro. A good cry can never be a crime. I’ll say that this from Elle Duncan, what Ice Cube was saying about looking up to a cat younger than him and Draymond telling reporters that he didn’t want to talk ABOUT Kobe, he’d rather talk WITH Kobe probably got me the most

You know if the world learned to show it's emotions more it be better place, don't feel bad, I be at work and watch these tribute videos of Kobe and it was a month ago but still tear up and people walk by me wondering whats wrong and I wipe my face quickly but my mom holds my hand and say it's nothing wrong with showing a little emotions from time to time if you hold it in to much it builds anger, be free let it out, the Lord intended for us to cry, he bottles are tears up even the toughest cry if they say they don't I really would consider distancing from them
