I know that if you're coming here to watch this video and my other tribute video you must care or respect Kobe Bryant in some way. I was shocked and deeply hurt when I found out he had died and especially the manner in which he died. I know there are a lot of people who are going to come to this video and comment and express their grief and some measure of respect to the Mamba. I welcome this and support it, but I am discouraging and removing the comments that are asking for likes. For example, "Like this if you're here after Kobe died!." I feel that is an insult to his memory and that of his daughter who passed with him. Don't promote yourself, just appreciate the video and the fact that you were lucky enough to see him play, remember the joy he brought you, and use it as inspiration and motivation to be better and succeed at what you do, like he would have wanted from his fans and admirers.

MJ is the GOAT, Lebron is magnificent, Steph is awe-inspiring, but as far as I'm concerned, Kobe is Legendary. Torn rotator cuff? No problem. Busted achilles? back in top form in a year. 20 years in the league. 5 rings. God knows how many other achievements from MVP trophies to Olympic medals. All straight out of high school. There will never be another like the Mamba. Always classy and always entertaining.

Definitely the best. Lebron will never be better than him, when Kobe was hurt he didn't play 1 year and after that he wasn't so good and it his stats were going down after his injury. It means if he wasn't hurt, he would have much, much more points in his career and his statistics would be better than this. For me Michael Jordan and Lebron James are fantastic of all time, but Kobe is icone of the basketball for me, definitely the best player ever. He was great in everything, ok Lebron is better than blocks, but for me Kobe is much better in defence, Lebron is maybe better in 3 points but honestly I don't know because a say again Kobe's injury changed his career totally and for me also hi is better dunker than Lebron and Jordan both.

Kobe is the embodiment of what hard work, perseverance, discipline, grit and determination means. A lump always builds up in my throat now every time I see Kobe videos because it keeps reminding me what can be achieve in life if one adopts those same core values. His death immortalized his Mamba Mentality Philosophy and he truly is a testament to that philosophy. Mamba mentality means “just trying to get better every day.” It's the “simplest form of just trying to get better at whatever you're doing.” Cheers.

Kobe could create his own shot n make shots like no one in NBA history, including Jordan. Footwork was maybe best EVER. Jordan was better in the post of course, he could finish around the rim like he was GOD but Kobe could create and make shots from mid range and the outside like he was GOD, like NO OTHER. PRIME KOBE was KraZY, he was best in NBA history at shooting over players, especially from the triple threat position(before he dribbles) he could just rise up over players and splash it, AWESOME. Love to see him just rise up and hit the 3, NASTY.

People who say kobe had a bad fg percentage (45%) just by looking at the numbers, dont watch the games. 45% turns into a damn good percentage when 90% of your points come off of contested shots with two or three guys on u, u have to remember, Kobes an iso scorer, no screens no nice cut play drawn up, its just move out the way 1 on 1 or post up, when playing 1 on 1 theres always a contest, unless u blow by ur man, so he scores with 1 or 2 guys in his face if the help comes, and still comes up with 45%, niggas be strait hatin man.

He *really* was something special. He was very similar to Jordan but at the same time he didn't have that narcissistic attribute of self praise. This guy was really amazing. From talks and interviews, you can tell he's not just an athlete. He actually dedicated a lot of time to thinking about other things in life, he had great insight and was a really intelligent and articulate guy. Clearly he was more than just a basket ball player.~

1:30 min seriously look at that wtf? that is a shot I've never seen anyone in the NBA do like wtf? That's utilization of foot movement to the maximum level. You don't practice that shit that's all instinct and natural reaction to the defense, that's after hours, days and years of practice to be able to react to defense like that naturally.
