LeBron plays like crap, and complains about the the "sleeves" on the jersey. Kobe just comes out, kicks T-Mac's butt, and leads his team to victory with "sleeves" on. KOBE BRYANT, THE GREATEST EVER!

this was when kobe could lock down any player in the league, and take over the game at any point (he can still do both, but not at the same time), and this was when t-mac was the 2nd best at taking over the game, and still a great defender. I don't understand all the hate on t-mac

Again this was my favorite Kobe game obviously he had so many great games, but Tracy was lighting the Lakers up 21 pts at half Kobe 1 pt. Second half Kobe got hot himself,he was a better defender, year older and one of the few who could match Tmac in scoring he finished 38 pts,Tmac 37 pts. Kobe stood up to Tmac and won this great game.

THIS GAME personifies how great Kobe is...not only does HE have to guard the BEST player on the other team but also comes up in the clutch on both D and Offense, especially late in the game. I doubt Lebrick or Wade would be checking PRIME T-MAC the way kobe did when it counted

It's amazing how Kobe and T-mac were both super talented and considered equals at that time. Yet today, Kobe is a 5x champion and basketball legend whereas McGrady has fallen off completely. This shows talent isn't everything. Kobe's drive and work ethic makes him far superior to T-mac.

It was never close. McGrady played in a traditional NBA offense with iso's, p'n'r's, curl screens, etc... and had a few good scoring seasons. Bryant played the majority of his career in the triangle [which is predicated on high post passing and ball movement] and still dominated. The 2 years he played without the triangle, he went on the greatest scoring tear in the modern era. If he'd have played his entire career in traditional sets he'd have averaged 35 for his career.

Most of Kobe's point comes from (now and then) Isolations or pick and rolls, no matter what kind of offensive system they have. He and T-Mac used to score the same way, the same kind of baskets. McGrady just don't give a shit about making 80 points games, and that's why Kobe's better. But McGrady was better all-around, that's why he definitely is in the discussion.

This game reminds me of why I didn't totally agree with LBJ going to Miami; these two players brought the best out of each other. It reminds me of the days of Magic vs. Bird, Wilt vs. Russell (even though Russell had a dream team you get my gist), and Jordan vs. the entire Piston's team. Now the top 10 players play on two teams. This Super Alliance, Megatron era is partial to our current lockout. Where is our HEART YOUNG MONEY.

To those saying that lebron would win with gasol/bynum/odom. Putting great players together doesn't automatically mean ring. One of the best examples, this Laker team in '03-'04. Bron simply wouldn't fit in with gasol, bynum, and odom. Those 3 are monsters in paint. What does Bron like to do? DRIVE INTO THE PAINT. When you have 2 other bigs on the team that stay down there, that will just create traffic for Lebron. Also, the way Bron plays is a waste of Gasol's passing talent.damncharacterlimit
