Watching this highlights the lack of passes that England play forward for someone to actually run on to and stretch defences. Slovakia will sit back allow us to knock it around without an end product and hit on the break.

They should start palmer and Saka. Foden is really complicated.

what are you watching? foden is much better on & with the ball than jude. even in these highlights foden has much better touch & control. foden doesn't give the ball away once whereas jude gave it away more often than not & his touch is awful. the best ballers in this team are trent, foden, palmer, mainoo & they all need to be starting

Modern day players, they do a lot of back passes .

What is he supposed to do in that game 😂 What did Bellingham, Foden and Saka do in that game ? Are they not incredible players anymore? Mainoo did better than all of them in an overall absolute embarrasing game for England, for me that speaks for itself

I THINK he'll turn out to be a tactician like jorginho rather than a playmaker. Tacticians dont often seem flamboyant in midfield but they keep things ticking. If he can develop a long ball permanently in his game, he can be better

Wow shows how bad Jude and fodden are. They're supposed to be 10 levels above this kid. Yet all you see is them misplace pass after pass. One things that shows how good maino is how much stones and walker trust giving him the ball in tight spaces. They know a baller when they see one

bellingham never was a 10, he played there for madrid in a few matches because they didn't have a 10 or a 9 like england do whereas real had great midfielders & fast wingers that england are lacking. now southgate believes that bellingham can replicate what he was doing for madrid with england when really he should be the holding midfield player for england because rice isn't good enough to play in midfield. pickford gordon rice guehi saka bellingham mainoo trent palmer kane foden
