Congrats on a very good fish! A few things I could like to comment on. Shot out to the 2 gentleman that gave free advise. They true anglers that showed the love for the sport by helping another. Respect for release a good fish to go breed. I have no issues with guys keeping fish but its a important time of the year for Kob and you respected that. Then cleaning up other people shit is truly awesome! Respect! Another awesome thing is to have a fishing buddy like Darren. Having someone like him share the passion and memories are truly a blessing! Alway enjoy it together! I will keep supporting your channel! Keep up the good work. Geez thanks Deon😄 ya we trying to lead by example and to show true sportsmanship. Fishing is so much more than just catching fish. Being out there with your friends and De stressing! Taking it all in enjoying Gods gift of nature. I was brought up to respect nature , the sea and all creatures. We even had pet snakes 😄 I will continue as long as I have people Like you encouraging me and supporting me. Cheers and take care 🤙

Great series finally paid off .well done larni.spinning is a nice way to fish.i got a setup kept in my bakki.whenever I get a chance I go and hit a few throws.thnx for cleaning up the beach.if everyone picks a few pieces of dirt our beaches will be clean. Thnx for the great videos. God bless and stay safe..............and ppl always leave the beach cleaner than what you found it god blesd

It’s a really good feeling to hook a fish after all that casting 🤣 I just wish the fight lasted a bit longer, but the fish was hooked in the shallows, like most Kob are I suppose. But very very happy with my catch 🤙😄 thanks Jason

Sorry on my arrival yesterday, so met the guys who landed a 132Cm / 28kg Kob early hours yesterday (tues) they revived the fish in the river and released 😄

Shot Llewelyn, I enjoyed that session big time 😄 this Assasin spin Zero is a 1-3 ounce 11” XH. Cast really well even with the 2 ounce jig head. Built on a Amnia blank I was told by the experts. R1000.00 cheaper than the Amnia. A good rod to start spinning with. Can actually feel it casting from the butt. Good action on the tip as well. Hope that helps , shot bru 🤙

Don’t worry that fish definitely swam out 😄 I usually get much deeper into the water when I’m releasing a fish but NOT at Sandspitt. Huge drop off and not possible. Shark fishing hey.. ya that’s another story altogether 🤣 shot 🤙

Shot Ryan, yeah I have them and I use them. Didn’t need them with paddle tails because I kept the same jig head except when I used the orange tail I changed the jig head to 1 and 1/2 jig head. Also not so easy to clip on the jig head I found. But top tip, shot bru🤙
