Very intuitive, very deep, very cleverly designed, very powerful, very user-friendly, very fun, very versatile, very reasonably priced, very much made with love!
I designed an app similar decades ago for the silicon graphics machines. This has surpassed all of my dreams. Amazing work. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Were the samplers back then based on structures similar to the ASR-10 or MPC? Or did you design something strictly for software. I remember software based production was pretty rough even in the 2000s with Reason series and FL studios. We came such a long way!

Truly one of the best music apps out there. So simple and intuitive, yet SO powerful. Incredible tool to have for music making, and it goes with you everywhere!
This will be amazing for music therapy with people with disabilities thank you!

For real this app is so impressive. It's crazy what you can do. It's like Yakback on steroids but you can make whole orchestrations just using your voice or whatever samples you want. So easy to use and also has a lot of depth under the simple looking UI.

Yea so I've been using this app for a couple months and youtube just decided to say "someone liked your comment" on this video so update. Yea still loving this app and using it regularly. I made some beats with it, exported sample packs (though I'm still trying to figure out if I am exporting correctly because it seems like the modifications I made in app didn't transfer to the Zip files I sent), I have composed songs on here, recorded ideas on the fly, got a fairly firm grasp of the concepts that in things like Ableton for a newcomer seem overwhelming much in the way of advanced Photoshop. Anyways I think this is a fantastic on the go and at home creation tool to have on hand. One thing I'd really appreciate is being able to change the themes or have multiple options as occasionally the standard reddish theme can be a tad boring and I like to change themes on everything. Also with exporting songs I've composed it's carried over all my compositions correctly including those from performance mode. There is a remarkably feature dense file menu features list in this deceptively simple sampler. Still recommend it 100% and it came recommended by a friend of mine who is a popular lofi hip hop producer so I've been happy with this app and its been affixed to my home screen to get out quick ideas and experiment with loops and sound concepts at the moment I think of it.

@@deldia You're right - but that's very impressive, given this is only about 1/20th of the price. Crazy to think that there was no way you could have carried around a device with this capability in your pocket (short of something like an SP-303) even 15 years ago.

I wish all music apps had videos like this!!! Everyone just assumes your Pharrell once you purchase it. Spot on mate!!!!!
What an amazing piece of software and it's intuitive design is just incredible. Apple hasn't design something so elegant and simple in a while like this, it's almost like Ableton in a stripped down version. Bought this on Android and having a ton of fun! Keep up the great work, the attention to detail, clean UI, and utility has made it one of my best purchases from the app store in a while
Been waiting for something like this for years! Well done.
This app is perfect in EACH part of it. Graphics ❤ Functionality ❤ Sound ❤ Effects ❤ Price ❤ As a software developer, i am soooo overwhelmed by this piece of software!
This app is very clean and intuitive! And I dig the color scheme. Has a fun vibe. I downloaded this app, Flip and Ableton Note. I’m a native Ableton user. Koala wins. Thanks for making this!
I just bought it and beyond excited!!! Thank you Marek for this incredible work
Love this app its incredible. Intuitive and has an incredible amount of options laid out so simply basically anyone could figure it out.
This is an amazingly easy to use app, with some powerful features. Love it.
Just purchased This morning. I really liked the look of the workflow on this video. You did some great development work. Looking forward to diving into it today. Thanks much
Fantastic video! Immediately purchased this app after watching and look forward to future videos!
Just WOW man, the interface is looking brilliant, I just bought the app will go through it my self rn. Thanks for the great job!
Duuuude your app is insane man, just bought it and I absolutely love it! Def. the best out there♥️
thank you. a sampler as readily available and compact as koala is what i've needed my whole life.
Loving this app! So fun, and surprisingly deep. Thank you!
Loving your work, app and video alike. Well done to everyone involved.
Love this product thank you! 👍 think of this compared with early samplers lol. Once again great work😎
For a subject I know nothing about about, this has been very educational. I wish every tutorial was this well done. I think even a Ludite like me might be able to do this after several careful reviews of this video. Thank you!😊
A great little app! Thanks for the clear and concise tutorial.
Bought the app, wwatched half the toturial and already LOVING how intuitive it is! Great explaination too!
super helpful! thanks so much for this overview. ready to dive back into koala!

This app is a winner, simply wonderful. As an app user the price is to low, double it so you can maintain its development, or build future apps. Yes I hear all the boos, but most of you know I'm right.

Your totally right man. I’d easily pay £9.99 for this app. Should also think about selling custom skins and soundpacks 🎧
I just bought this. This is INSANELY FAST and FUN. You're a genius. The whole "hold pad as long as you want to sample to" with the mic or input of your device... wow. That's FAST. Why can't everything be this fast? Perfection. I never buy apps, but wow. Seriously. Great work, and I so look forward to following everything you do. Btw, with the latest update, Clear Note is gone, and it's only Undo, on the Sequence page... is there any way to possibly hold a pad to erase it, as a Sequence plays? Instead of clearing the entire thing? Thx!
Nice , thank you for making the app and explaining the basics in this video. This is gonna be fun!!
Great intro man, i've had this app for a while but need to play around with it more - looks a lot more fun on an ipad!
It really is amazing. I love the ease of sampling and being able to instantly play with the samples or tweak em . Definitely gonna incorporate this to my DAW workflow

This is the best iOS app I ever downloaded. I wish much success to you.
superb app and great intro. Thanks so much!
Inspiring and fun sampler. A bit genius. Kudos!
I am waiting to come across the second that would include assigning slices to particular pads, looking for the gate function, and possibly something else. But it will come to mind. Nicely done
The best tutorial i ever seen ur doing so well with this ,learnt a lot from you , i hope it will make big . Thanks
Cool! So glad I discovered this! Downloaded it today and can't wait to get stuck in 😎
Wonderful app and explanation video!
This is the best tutorial I have ever seen
Yes, I had it on iPhone, now I changed phone to Android, got this again, a must have.
This is fantastic thanks for bringing this to android
Absolutely great app, having a lot of fun
thanks for making music making accessible 🖤
Most soothing voice ever. You should record meditation videos , sir.
I love this app but it would be great if you include a ADSR control for each pad and midi clip editing
Loving this app so far. One thing I'd like to see if possible is when you are in sequence mode, can you go into a step sequence mode to play around with the drums and samples if they are off instead of undoing them.

this feature has been implemented in the meantime: double tapping a sequence brings up a piano roll! note: this feature comes with the samurai mode IAP ($3.99 at the time of writing this). also included are two more useful functions: timestretch and auto-chop.
As s guy who learned sampling on an Ensoniq EPS (I still have two!) , this is what I have been dreaming of for decades. Do you know how much an EPS weighs?! Don't let me down Koala! I paid $500 in 1989 for an EPS. $5 IN 2022 for this app!
Just purchased app ..and subscribed ! Thanks for this . I'll be very busy with this I'm sure . Seems easy enough for even me to understand 😼👍
Cheers my man, this app is awesome.

Since quarantine began, I’ve been immersed in learning all I can about iOS music/video production. It’s been really exciting and inspiring to say the least. Somewhere along the way while checking out apps, I stumbled across Koala. I put it down on my list, but hadn’t downloaded it... Until now. Why have I been sleeping on this app? 🤔😂 Time to dive in!!! Omg am I about to sell my MPC 2000? This is BRILLIANT!
Great Content!
love this app so far!! I have a couple suggestions: Would you consider adding a playhead on the trim screen? It would be especially helpful with longer samples. Speaking of longer samples, it would be nice if we could have some kind of “extract selection to new pad” feature...and a chop feature to distribute one long sample amongst however many pads the user chooses. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

oh, and two more things: I’d love to be able to turn quantize off, or if that’s not possible, at least have the ability to adjust it. I’d love a retrigger feature to be able to repeat the pad at a select rate.
