This with a .KNS 052 or .072 front ball post would be sweet. I run the .072 post on a 10/22 with a set of NODAK sights, accurate and precise.

My front sight is slightly canted to the right so I had to adjust the front post a bit left. Will there be any issues aligning rear to front?

A similar sight makes GG&G, but I did not fit, very far from the eye and is only suitable for very slow shooting (although the vision is different for everyone ) My choice, this is a target from the RPK . Tell please, and what twist have barrel rifles Arsenal SLR -106 ( 7 twist or 9 ?) On Saiga 223 REM 9 twis

Do the ribs on the top of the dust cover interfere with the KNS sight ? Does it bottom out on the dust cover, especially when adjusting for elevation ? Thanks

Need one of these for my Type 56 SKS. Damn front sight is so canted I can’t get it zeroed.

What happened to your poi @100 went way high ? Were you using your combat zero at 25 ? Or did you adjust the elevation to the 100 marker on the sight ?

Should we look forward to a link/code when these become available? This would pair really well with their ball front sight post!

Dang it’s 150. I just got my first ak and I think my first upgrade will be the TWS dog leg rail cover. These will be on the want list tho

where can I get one of these? can't find it on kns website.

I tried the tech sights, I personally didn’t like it. It made taking off the dust cover too much of a headache Plus after I slapped a Midwest mount on the side receiver rail with a red dot I never looked back

Can you still co witness using a red dot? Mounted on a railed gas tube or side mount?

Yes you should be able to because it sits in the exact same place.

Would you recommend this type of sight for run and gun or would you stick with stock style rear leaf (more like RPK style) and this is for backs. Not primary. I have heard mixed reviews for peep sights on run and gun but those were all AR guys.

not for run and gun. I tried it and it wasn't as fast as the og leaf. doable though.

If you have a canted front site, this is a fix for that. Otherwise practice will make the difference. If you’re seriously looking to “run and gun” a zero magnification optic is going to be your best chance.

If you have an astigmatism like I do, I don’t know how you can run dots, they get so fuzzy, I end up using solely primary arms cyclops. Unfortunately I can’t use it on a gas tube mount

KEY 2A Unfortunately I hated the cyclops. Bought the holosun with acss and as long as it’s not too high in brightness it’s perfect. I also didn’t have any issues with the 507c or the vortex sparc AR 2 as long as they weren’t too bright.

I just kind of learned how to deal with the Bloom as you know on a really bright day it's not so bad with a red dot . With low light red dots are almost unusable.

couldn't tell but it looks like that peep is a little bit higher then the leaf. could you tell me how much higher?? just got my first ak and went with an ak to m4 stock adapter. but now the rear leaf is too low to use with a m4 stock. can't get my head down low enough. guessing it needs to come up a good 5/16" give or take. this peep might do the trick

If you have a bit of a riser it be a bit high just like with a regular leaf.

Klayco47. Not a question on the sight its actually on the kns adjustable gas piston. Have you ran the geissele ak spring and kns adjustable piston together? If so how is the combination.

If you want an excuse for poor shooting don’t blame your front sight. Peep sights are meant to be close to the eye. They present even more struggles at 8” than microscopic notches do. I’m looking for an adjustable rear peep that mount to the dust cover and can be placed at the rear so like an AR I can get up on it. Also, if you want to shoot 556 why NOT get a Ruger Mini14 or a AR?

Nyet notch is superior/fine

@@TheBlock413 I see what you mean. I have astigmatisms in both eyes so peep takes a min to focus on when its further forward like this. Totally doable for run and gun but imo... not as fast. It would be like having a peep on a pistol that is fare away from your eye. Takes longer to focus.

I don’t get it, why you would want to use a Peepsight that far forward on a rifle. The whole purpose is for the rear sight to ghost out thus be fast on target acquisition.

I thought the peep sight has to be at the back. At least Robski said so in one of his videos. I guess I'll stick to my irons.

I called KNS and Lucas doesnt have a ETA yet, with all this stuff going on has pushed alot of stuff back, is what I was told. That's how awesome KNS precession customer service is.

That is a ridiculous and very flawed concept! A Peep Sight or a larger diameter Ghost Ring needs to be up close to your eye!

How found it very useful when shooting out to distance it was almost like cheating. For running and gunning I definitely think the original site is better suited.

@@KLAYCO47 what he means is you aren't using the peep sight correctly,, if it's not close to your eye your brain can't phase the ring out properly. If you want something that far forward it needs to be a leaf style sight.

First video of yours I watch you saty a yugo is the best sks , second video you are putting peeps on a AK , smashing the do not recommend this channel
