Love your videos. Honestly, you are this generation's Mathew Brady, chronicling and presenting for those who follow what conditions were like during our economic civil separation. Your work belongs in the National Archives or Library of Congress. YES! Within the first minute you were right in front of my old crib. You took a right down the one way, after you passed the tow truck, straight into the "Jungle". It used to be called the jungle back when that place is really wild approx 2005. My first night there one of the neighbors got shot and died on my front porch.

I gotta say, for being the worst side of town it's not too bad at all. Sure there're are a couple of old manufacturing buildings that need to be torn down as well as the old abandoned project buildings, and certain areas that needed trash picked up, other than that it's not too bad at all. It's a shame that the Knoxville College isn't being used anymore. There's a lot of history there. Sadly only 3 people graduated in 2022 or 2023. It shut down in 2016 and reopened in 2018 but it just can't get off the ground anymore. Very sad indeed. A great adventure. Thanks for the tour 🤠👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

you certainly drove through the worst areas of Knoxville. this is known as the east side/ east Knoxville. as bad as things are and can be, Knoxville really is nice place. its is just getting so congested and like you say the population is growing fast !!!

You missed an opportunity to go to Etowah (my hometown) and Athens TN to see a lot like this.

I am from Knoxville and been through these areas only to discover the causes were from the bars popping up especially in these areas.

Look how they leave trash all over and don't pick it up. No pride or effort to make the areas better.
