Knowing God as Our Father - Dr. Charles Stanley
There is only one true God, but the Bible teaches that He has many titles and roles in your life. He is your Lord and Savior, the Great I Am, your Redeemer, Messiah, Deliverer, Physician, and King. Yet, when you feel lonely, weary, and discouraged, how do you refer to Him? When tragedy strikes or you find yourself in the middle of a terrible trial, which name for the Lord God is the most reassuring to you?
In his sermon, Knowing God as Our Father, Dr. Stanley highlights the encouraging privilege of calling God by His most comforting name-Father. No matter how your earthly dad shaped your perception of what a parent could or should be, you can know God as your perfect heavenly Father who loves you unconditionally.

Never knew my human father. I am blessed to have a much better Father. I depend on HIM for everything, as well as Jesus and the Holy Spirit. They are my only family, everyone else has died. Without the Holy Trinity, I would be so lonely. Separation from them would be unfathomable.

So good to be home so that I can resume my route of watching Dr. Stanley on Saturday and on Sunday. Can't get enough of his teachings. They have clarified so many things for me and helped me to make a change in my life. I'm so grateful to God for what He's done in my life because of the lessons from Dr. Stanley. I thank God for my Father in heaven. He has been with me every step of the way. He’s corrected me when wrong and helped me be a better man. While my earthly father was absent my Heavenly Father supplied all my needs. Today I stand as a Christian, Man, Husband, brother, friend, with character because of our Father in Heaven. Thank God Almighty. Thank you Jesus!

I pray daily for for all the Children like you, I lost MOTHER and FATHER when I was five(5) years old , growing up I was never in need of anything, God open doors I never knew was there for me. so I join you in humility to give our Heavenly Father Thanks , praise and honor. I've been hearing lots of good things about trading & investments with Mrs Mary Margaret Schimweg and how good she is and how she keeps changing lives of her clients from around the world...I'm from UK and investment is a unique thing, I earned upto £270,000 and counting recently thanks to Mrs Mary Margaret Schimweg, but i think hobbies and socializing as the center of your life would make you feel happier than spending, and I'm saying this as someone who is currently retired. For example, my sister taught me how to crochet a scarf, and it has been making my days better. - Not sure if you were describing unhappiness from spending, or just that you need retirement advice. But I wish you well on your journey!!!

Brandy, Charles Standley leaves out so much of Gods word it is unbelievable. Are You Really Saved? Did you Obey the word of God or a Preacher? First of all I am not judging anyone because I’m not the judge and I attend the Church of Christ because it accepts all of what Gods tell’s us to do to be saved. How important is the (Word Of God) to you? I’ve talked to a lot of people that say they are saved, “that as long as they believe in God and live a Christian life they will go to Heaven.” They say, “God is forgiving, God is good, he want punish you for something small as being Baptized, or what Gospel you believe. That’s sounds great but what if they are wrong? What if getting to Heaven depends on believing and obeying all of the Word of God. If believing is all we need to do there will be millions and millions of people that go to Heaven. Jesus Christ said, “ Only a few will be saved”.(Luke 13/23-24). Truth is, millions of people are going to Denominational Church’s run and ruled by earthly men. They preach and teach a different Gospel leaving out a lot of God’s word. Christ said, “if an angel or anyone preaches a different Gospel than I have told you let them be accursed. (Gal 1/8). Less take a look at some people that believed in God but didn’t listen to God. When an Angel from God told Lot and his wife that God said to leave Sodom and not look back because God was going to destroy the City. Did God mean what he said?, Surely God wouldn’t punish anyone for (simply turning around and looking), did he forgive her? NO!, Because she turned around and looked, God turned her into a Pillar Of Salt that is still standing there today. There was also Adan and Eve that believed in God but didn’t listen to God and ate of the fruit of the tree of knowledge. For that little mistake they were put out of the Garden of Eden to die just because they didn’t obey God. Did God forgive them? No!. Also there was Moses God told to speak to the rock and water would come forth. Moses struck the rock with his staff. A very little mistake but for this little mistake did God forgive him? No!. God didn’t let Moses enter the Promus land. The (Word Of God) tells us in Rev. 22/18-19 not to leave any of God’s word out of the (Word Of God), if we do he will leave us out of the book of life. He also tells us not to add anything to the (Word Of God) or he will add the plagues that written in the book to our life. The Denominational Church’s, preach what they want to preach to gain members. According to the word of God there is only One Body, One Lord< One Faith and One Baptism. (Ephes. 4/5-6). People don’t realize it but the Church Christ talked about building is his Body. (Ephes.1/22-23) tells us Jesus is over everything concerning his Church (Which is his Body) and the Bibles says there is only One Body, not two or three, only One. Does that mean there is only one Church God will recognize, According to the Bibles, YES. Christ Church is made up of people that have believed and obeyed all of God’s word, ”We are told to be baptized for the remission of our sins and God will send us the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) to dwell within us as a comforter to remind us of the things Christ said. At that time we are added to the Body of Christ which is not a building. We worship in a building that wears his name, the Church of Christ but we could worship in a Cornfield.

I love it when Dr. Stanley shares testimonies about his mother, Rebecca.💕 In the absence of a Godly father, it's a blessing to have a Godly mama going to God on our behalf, in Christ Jesus. I'm still being blessed by the prayers of my Godly mother, Hannah.💞 Praising God for blessing my life so abundantly.🦋

Amen Dr Stanley THE FATHER. Just as Jesus called out Abba [Father] His relationship to the Father [was different than ours] he expresses as MY Father...he told us [children of God] to pray "Our Father". Only Jesus can address the Father as My Father. In other words, Jesus is the only begotten SON OF GOD. We are all Gods children.
