@@CoffeePotato This could have been a great exclusive skill for this character, what we have is the draconic version of teleport which is much weaker and limited (teleports a character only to a field that he could already move to in his next round, and not to the whole map)

@@CoffeePotato Thinking about it, it would cost HP and not target the user as he got weak after the cast.

Warren is always overlooked because of the difficulty it takes to get him. Technically he ISN"T worth the effort, but he's still a top-tier mage.

Such a kooky old man. Has anyone done the math? He teleported himself into the fight. Then cast some kind of mass teleport, which presumably runs at a discount to send 12 people to safety. Then self-petrified. Can you fit all that in 418MP? He deserves Conserve MP. His skills work very thematically, but resonance and stardust are kind of weird as support. He's too frail to actually be standing beside enemies for these effects, but it works perfectly fine for slapping some instills on your gunners and archers. Still, at his point in the game it's not like there's a problem with giving him an actually broken skill.

Being a true unique class and a far far late game recruit, he deserves some better skills, imagine an MP version of the Velocity Shift type of skill or physical damage reflection or just ranged attack reflection, melee reflection again would break the game. So many generic classes get so many awesome skills, but some of these unique are meh

I think the weirdness is the point. He's not a god, he's just a wizard that's seen some shit, and apparently that translated into carrying the anti Auto Monster Skill Bat Belt

@@CoffeePotato Well give him the other Auto Monster Skill then, like Dragon Scale 😂true draconic dragon arch wizard. Actually as his class name, it wouldn't be weird to give him a skill similar to Elanor's unique skill from KOL. Could be his unique finisher on Books or Staff. So many opportunities wasted, someday may be, when they remake the game again, Tactics Ogre: Reincarnated 😁

@@doha057 Not sure about that, it fits into his whole deal. His auto skill is specifically useful to rescue his friend, and in both games he's in, he's got this vibe of a guy with a lot of general knowledge of the world around him, but he's no super human. Dude just knows stuff. So his job title could very well just be a propaganda one, making him sound impressive to his own people, while just being an experienced traveler otherwise.

On PSP, I always gave him Lightning stuff; it’s a good blend of the stereotypical “holy bright light” combined with “dark power very destructive”, seeing as how he dabbles in both light and dark

Exactly, when the wiring is good, it's light. When you fuck up and spill your coffee on the fuse box, it gets dark.

Just finished CODA2 recently and despite being prepared for it, I was still a little disappointed with Warren. Was trying to figure out how to really utilize him, because I am a big fan of the other 'underwhelming' unique caster. Was pretty much figuring he's a good option for Resonance, but completely missed the status healing. Might be worth it to run him with Resist Petrify in the middle of a cross formation. I've actually found Resist Petrify being surprisingly consistent and thwarting birds.

It's handy for that, but his loadout effectively makes him very consistent at using what the other end game casters generally don't. Old man likes the boom.

Need to divi up the higer elemental spells. I absolutely adore the element temples pixel art. Though cant stack the spells all on prinsess mage over here. Just.. where is he?

Warren "Kick" As-tromancer, as he prefers to be called. Though I just call him Stinky Warren because giving him the stinky set makes farming PotD 75-115 muuuuuch easier.

Fair point. His Judge and Starfall nukes are a nice printer.

El problema con los magos es que son muy opacados por los Shamans y eso le resta mucho interés a Warren o Deneb, por ejemplo.
