I like how you show us the human side of beading. Because in reality, things can get messy, we often try things out, then change our minds and there's usually a lot of trial & error in the designing process. It's rarely so cut & dry & perfect as it is in most tutorials, which can be intimidating for beginners if they don't do it perfectly the 1st time, like in most videos. I loved the necklace, I have a collection of leather and gemstone pendants, I am going to have to try it. The knot you used on the donut was great. I love watching you work! I also have been beading for 25 years. before that was rubber stamping. that's how I got into beading. I used to buy beading products to use on my cards and so fourth. before I even knew it I, had a supply . One day it was hot n the only air conditioner in the house was the bedroom. I had my granddaughter and her friend that day. they didn't want to leave the cold air. they were about 7/8 . so I was thinking on what they could do. went to the craft room n got the carry container which I kept all that stuff in. ssoo, we sat on the bed and made my first nechlace. the girls made watch bracelets. And, I WAS HOOkED!! still have over 1000s of rubber stamps Now kept in the garage. have been going through keeping ones that might interest me when i decide to open my metal clay and work with it. I will gladly send some if I knew what you would use in your clay beads? for me I can only keep so many. Planning to put on line to sell alonk with my many cake decorating stuff. Let me know will send you some
