Black Diamond cracks me the hell up - the fact that the last scene is Centralia is such an Easter Egg for us local Central Pennsylvanians.

Cedar Point used to have a Bob Sled ride where the GateKeeper currently is located. Sometime in the 90's it was put indoors and named Disaster Transport. It was horrible when they put it indoors because there was no air conditioning and was terribly hot in the summer. Thanks for the video Jacob.

I love the old school dark rides. I have a dream of building one in my backyard some day. The Haunted Mansion at Knoebels is so good. It definitely is a ride that you have to get on more than once per trip just to be able to see everything. There is so much going on inside of it.

Great job Jacob! Wish I could have been at yesterday’s anniversary celebration. I feel honored to have been the producer for our DVD documentary about the Haunted Mansion in 2008. It was named the Haunted House at that time, and the skull room was where the current upside down room is now. Felt like I lived inside that ride for a week! So glad the ride is still going strong. May it operate for another 50-plus!

Jacob, the Flying Horses Carousel in Watch Hill RI has a brass ring dispenser, so feel free to add this to the list. I think that the Looff Carousel in Riverside RI has one too. Great seeing Dark Ride Dracula giving The House Of Horrors at Rocky Point Park in Rhode Island some love! That’s my favorite dark ride ever! Something tells me The Looper might be THE ROCK N’ ROLL from Rocky Point and also that Viking at The Sploosh, which used to be at The House of Horrors!

My hubby is a big tall boy who needs 3XLT shirts so it's really hard to buy him gift shop shirts too. Not fair but so glad you found the shirt you wanted So very great...enjoyed your video again ..keep them coming because we sure enjoy them ❤

The BEST amusement park in the world.

35:11 The only one of these in the world which is why it got a LOT of press when it was built. Knoebels spent several years designing and perfecting this century old type of coaster while making sure it was up to modern codes. They pulled off something few other parks would even think about resurrecting. Only thing similar would be the steel versions that popped up in the 80s (Kings Dominion still has theirs I believe). Back in the golden age of parks there were 7 or 8 wooden Flying Turns coasters in the US (full list on rcdb), the largest example I can think of was at Cleveland's Euclid Beach (torn down in 1969 with the other coasters when that park sadly closed and was replaced by a state park and apartments).

I really enjoy your dark ride and haunt videos. Knobels dark ride does seem like the ones I remember from the 70's. Thanks for turning me on to Dark Ride Dracula's channel. Now I can binge watch a bunch of dark ride videos. Happy 4th o f July, CB.

Looks like such a fun amusement park!!! Too bad it's so far away from where we live. More amusement parks should be like this one with great rides and delicious food. That was awesome to see the Haunted Mansion again! I remember the floating skulls many years ago (I think it used to be on the first floor) so great to see those back again.

I was up there on vacation and was supposed to go there all last week, but it rained for six days straight. Now I missed a trip to Knoebels, a ride on the haunted mansion during it's 50th anniversary, and a chance to meet you...

I REALLY want one of those Haunted Mansion mini building blocks sets! Hopefully they will be available online once released, since I wont be getting out there any time soon!

Astro world had a ride just like the Skloosh, it was called the Tidal Wave. It even had the splash bridge too. It is hands down the wettest ride ever.

Two random thoughts while watching: -love any time the trimpers haunted house is mentioned -speaking of carousels, I’m sure you know about trimpers and how old it is. Did you know it is all allegedly also haunted? There is a specific horse, white with very princes looking accents (light blues, pinks, roses) that is supposedly haunted by a woman in white. She had a relation to the Trimper family that I cannot remember anymore.

FYI.. They just opened an interactive dinosaur exhibit in Las Vegas. It's in Ballys/Horseshoe hotel right next to the twilight zone minigolf. Would love to see you check it out.

I was just at hauntfest with Dave from DAFE. Bought a haunted portrait prop from him. Wish I was there also.

It was fantastic fun.I love the rides.

I just went on this dark ride on June 12th and 13th and surprised that there's one small addition to the attic, and the panting face. Normally you dont see panting monster until your close, but wow it makes it kind of cool to see the side of the wall have some pictures of mansion back in '73! And the light in the attic shows some of the stuff which is neat! Best dark ride ever!!!!!!
