Nik Nocturnal put out an interview with Brian earlier. He said that this wasn't even a song on the new album. Poppy reached out to them about a colab, they yes because most of the band were fans and went to work on making this song.

Idk who the hell thought that since Poppy has been leaning heavier for a while now.

It's like they have some brother/sister vibes with how similar they scream. Loved it!

This might be the song that gets me into Knocked Loose. I haven't been into hardcore and Bryan's voice has not been for me but I CANNOT stop listening to this song. Every reaction video and on repeat on Spotify. Poppy's addition to this is top tier.

Yeah, when Deep Into the Willows came out, I was like, this is pretty cool but I'm not sure if I can listen to a lot of Bryan's voice at one time. Then Blinding Faith and Don't Reach for Me released, and I ended up listening to those a ton. Now, with Suffocate, like Nath said, I'm all in. I've pre-ordered and will be blasting this as I drive around.

The scene is going nuts right now and for a good reason. I love this song and I can only wish for more songs by Popped Loose. This haunting scream...gorgeous terror :)

I gotta say, of all the people to hit the heavy metal world like they did, I did not expect it to be Poppy. She's got that good Babymetal vibe to her music, and her metal voice is sick. My spouse hated her phase where she seemed more like an art instillation than a person ("I'M POPPY. I'M POPPY. I'M POPPY."). I found it to be fascinating. I don't know anything about Knocked Loose, however that Reggaeton drop was pretty neat. Reminds me of when Clay Aeschliman dropped that little Reggaeton beat in Polyphia's GOAT. Hope you guys are well, all my best to you.

I honestly think Poppy's use to the song is the best example of how to feature on a track! Stole the show to me and I wasn't even excited for this one at first because I was sleeping on her bad! Pleasantly surprised for sure

Poppy absolutely killed it on this feature! I’ve been a huge fan of hers since hearing Scary Mask with FEVER 333 and it’s so awesome to see her doing more eclectic features. Only recently got into Knocked Loose with the dual songs in one video but every single song since has been better than the last imo so this album has me super hyped!

Poppys scream might end up being my favorite moment of music of 2024. Ive been a fan of her since she started making music, and this is hands down her most incredible performance. Would love to hear a full collab project between the two.

I agree, this is my favorite Knocked Loose song of all time and I wasn't a huge fan of Poppy to begin with. She blew my expectations away and her harmony with Brian put me in the back of my seat. I saw this video yesterday and immediately searched for your reactions. I remember seeing KL supporting Sylar (remember them?) and Beartooth in 2018 and didn’t get the hype at all, 0% interest. Stayed that way until deep in the willow. Now hearing this and the other singles I’m hella excited for this album. And this song is also just a huge middle finger to anyone who doesn’t think Poppy can throw down, she’s got some of the heaviest screams full stop. She is the ultimate wildcard in music now.
