On d shaft I'll sometimes use set screw knobs especially if the knob is the type I need/want for my project

Still love the voice after all those years

Is there a place I can download 3D models for the metal knob on those potentiometer? So I can use it to make a 3D printed knob? The one I’m focused on is the one with teeth, so I can just use some Boolean cut and make a simple knob.

On the teeth type with somewhat soft plastics like PLA just make a cylinder and press it tight, no need to print the teeth shape. I'd reccomend printing test cylinders until you get the diameter right and then printing a full knob with that diameter. For me it worked wonders and I didn't use more than 5 gram of plastic in my test parts.
