Knitting: Pressed Flowers MAL, video 6: garter mosaic in the round- hat, pullover, cardigan sleeves

April 2023 started our Spring MAL, which focuses on the series of patterns written by Amy Christoffers centered around her Pressed Flowers motif. It's a great motif because it uses garter and stockinette mosaic, as well as flat knitting or knitting in the round, depending on the pattern. She has written patterns for a shawl, cardigan, hat, cowl, and now a pullover! (listed below). We also have a few kits (yarn only) for the hat and small cowl, as well as the shawl and large cowl. Cardigan amounts will vary by size.
These videos are meant to assist with the pattern elements rather than replace the written pattern. This sixth video is on the differences of garter mosaic when knit in the round.

Hi Rebecca! Your tutorials are really very helpful. You're one amazing teacher. I'm new with Garter mosaic stitches but slowly figure the idea behind. Amy's pressed flower projects are for sure unique. Love the technic of flat or round stitches. As I'm about to make the raglan pullover I slowly understand that top down the little V's become little A's 😅 ...and I guess I've to start with the higher back (German short rows) following Amy's written instructions. I just try without thinking too much. But I wanted to thank you for your great lessons. I'd be lost without! Greetings from Austria, Hilde

I hope a lot of new knitters find your videos because you do such a good job of explaining so they can learn to understand and read their fabric. When I “got” that it changed my whole life! (I guess that means knitting was my whole life then-😂😂😂).
