PLEASE never delete this video. This is the simplest, most digestible explanation I’ve seen for this bind off method. I used this method to do a 2x2 bind off on a sweater hem to match a 2x2 tubular cast on neckline and it worked very well! All it took was a little experimenting with my bind off tension and I was able to get an edge that gave a very nice ‘rolled over’ effect.

This was such a clear explanation of the bind-off... and thanks for the "pattern" or sequence - this helped so much! I've watched multiple videos on the 2x2 tubular bind off, and this was by far the clearest example! Continue with your helpful content! Thanks!

The Best! Thank you. Having done Norwegian purls leaving my purls “backwards” on the needle as I did the ribbing, using this/your method to bind off was especially easy. Again, thank you!

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I was wondering if you have any tips for when the bind off doesn't start with a Knit Knit Purl Purl, but instead starts with the second knit stitch or even purl stitch.

Hmmm... great question! Since you would be jumping into the bind-off sequence half way through by starting with the Purl stitches, you would have to thing about how those purl stitches need to be "worked" before you bind them off. Test on a smaller piece of work first, and remember every stitch needs to be worked knitwise and purled before it is bound off.

This looks quite messy. I watched a bunch of different tutorials for this and the final result of the process is by far the worst in this one. You can't see the consistent V pattern in this one at all.

Thanks for watching! I appreciate your feedback. I'll work on improving the clarity of the V pattern in future videos by choosing a less bulky sample yarn. Thanks again for your input!
