    I still have a pair my grandmother in Finland knit for me when I was born in 1953. My mother knit them for us all and I have knit them for my own children and grandchildren as well as many babies in the family now here in Canada

    Thank you for this beautifully clear video on using dpns and sock knitting. I have been afraid to even try dpns but after watching you I think I could do it. Wonderful! Not too much extraneous chatter, just clear, calm instruction. Love love love it.

    The way you purl looks much smoother and much less awkward than the way I learned. I tried slowing the speed of the video way down so that I could try to learn it, but still not slow enough for me to catch exactly what you're doing. Hopefully I can eventually figure it out

    I don't but there is an English written pattern for this type of socks here, it's not exactly the same but I have used this idea. taitoep.fi/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Train-socks.pdf

    @@TuulaMaaria Hi and thank you. when i watch a sock video they teach to stitch after you do all pick ups and before you start the front part of foot on the right side and on the left going up. also my stitches sometimes caome of my double point . i am new at this. thank you janice from baltimore md
