This video shows a simple rib ZIG-ZAG pattern that can be used both right and wrong side. It is the same two row pattern that is repeated to the length you desire.
*Steps*
cast on multiple of 3 stitches
Row 1: *(1p, 1k 2nd st from behind, 1k first st), repeat * till end of row
Row 2: *(1k, 1p 2nd st, 1p first st), repeat * till end of row
Repeat the 2 rows above as many times as you need to make the leaf pattern.
